Lots of Support. Runs half a size small.
I've been having knee problems so I thought I would buy a more supportive shoe than the relatively flat one I use daily. I tried on several different shoes at the REI store and this one was by far the most comfortable. I walk my dogs several miles daily and am on my feet a lot at work. These shoes have made a big difference. I just bought another pair. They do run smaller than usual so i'm glad I tried it on before buying. I usually wear a size 9 and a 9.5 fits perfect in these shoes .

Going back to Hokas
I have used Hokas for years and decided to try On because my Bondi 7 were no longer available. I've had several surgeries on my feet, arthritis and still have plantar fasciatis so need a shoe with alot of support on the bottom of foot. The on clouds were too narrow, tight and left my feet feeling tingly. I had ankle discomfort and shin pain while running in them. I had to go up even higher in size than Hokas so if I would go up more they would fall off. Being tighter is not necessarily better for running. Going back to Hokas. But glad I tried them.

The Best Shoe for Tired, Sore Feet

I’ve been spending most of my days walking dogs and just plain walking. I hiked in poor quality shoes over miles of tree roots several weeks past. My feet were not healing. A more open toe box is something I knew I needed. Since I go through athletic shoes quickly, I was trying to avoid spending too much money, but decided to venture in to try on a new style. These were not the shoes I went in to try. As soon as they were on, I noticed how they had a rolling motion as I walked. There was support yet a cushioning feeling that cradled each toe. The arch was perfect. At the rear of the shoe there’s wonderful padding so no blisters will appear trying to “break in” these shoes. My sore right foot, inner knee area, and hip all improved within a day or two. I’ve been looking at my next pair already. A couple of days ago I tried my Ecco shoes which I always loved and thought were a great fit. After walking around shopping (and one quick dog walk), my feet ached after a couple of hours. I immediately put these shoes on and I could feel the original comfort I’d experienced while trying them on. These shoes are worth the money if you don’t want to be laid up with foot problems.

I wanted to love these...

These shoes were fantastic at first. Supportive, comfortable and made an immediate impact on my sore knees and back. However, they broke down very quickly. I primarily walk and by about 200 miles, they were dead as can be. I started getting more foot problems because of that. The fabric in the heel also started ripping despite these shoes being my size. I wanted to love them as I needed a replacement after Brooks changed their shoe design. But I don't think I'll be buying again.

Some of the Best Gym Shoes I've Ever owned

I tried on three shoes at REI. These were the first pair, but I still wanted to compare. I wound up coming back to these and purchasing them, and I am so glad I did. They fit perfectly, are super comfortable, and provide the exact amount of support I need without being so cushioned that the soles flatten over time. They feel light on my feet. Great for running and going to the gym, which is mainly what I use them for. I have the white and green, and love them.

Super comfortable!!

I really like the fit and feel of these shoes. I would recommend going a size up. In Hokas and Sauconys I’m a 7.5. For both of my pairs of Onclouds I’m a 8. Anyway, they feel super good when you’re walking, a lot of arch support.

great right out of the box

These are a dream. They’re surprisingly cushioned, but stable. Most of all, the toe box is much wider than most running shoes and comfortable immediately. For reference, I wear between a 6.5 and a 7, and got these in a 7. They fit well, with a little room at the front, but fit my heel snugly. I got them for running on my treadmill and they were great right out of the box for a four mile incline run.

Look cool, but don’t hold up!

I have two pairs of On sneakers and neither of them has held up at all. The sole wore out so quickly and the fabric around the top just tore open. After only 3 months they look the rattiest old shoes, super disappointed because I love the look of this brand- and they’re expensive!!

Great cross training shoes!

These are my first pair of On's so at first they took some getting used to because of the sole but I love them! I wear them for my HIIT workouts and daily activities. They're true to size but roomy so if you think they are a bit big at first, it'll just take getting used to.
