Good quality down-puffer for oversized look

This is one of the few "puffy" down vests you will find at REI currently. While not the puffiest, it is a good down-puffer style vest if you are looking for something that's a little on the longer side. I am 6ft 3in with an athletic build and the XL fits great. Wearable to work or over a hoodie for more casual wear. Very warm. Overall construction is good with a slightly more durable material on the shoulders. Pockets are lined with a softer material than the nylon. The construction is fairly simple, which is not necessarily a bad thing. There is a cinch cord for the bottom of the vest if needed. For the price, I wish there was a little more to the vest but I wouldn't say it is unreasonable. We will see how long it lasts.

Doesn't fit me, an old guy 5'10. Other XL's fit me. I think it is particularly tight. Also no inside pockets.

Fantastic vest at better price

It was eyeballing some expensive down vests from companies that charge multiples of this Cotopaxi sale vest. I saved myself some money and bought this one, and am grateful that I did. I’m 5’10”, 165 lbs, with a fit build and a wide back. This thing fits like a glove. Not too loose, not too tight. Just right. It’s very warm, and snug enough I can wear it as a layering piece too. The torso is a little long, which is great for body coverage, but I could see some people feeling it runs long. Overall an A++ purchase. I wires it today in New England in the low 30s when running to and from the car, and was quite content in it.

Warm and Comfortable

This is my favorite vest! It is warm and comfortable. Most vests stop at the hip but this is a bit longer and covers the butt (adds a bit of warmth on those cold days!). It does run a bit small. I'm 6' and 215lbs. I bought an XL and it fits perfectly.

one of my favorite pieces of clothing!

This vest is so cozy and comfortable. I have a lot of vests, because I generally only need insulation for my core. This one is my absolute favorite. It has a lot more loft than most of my other vests, and the length is a bit longer, which I love. I ended up buying two!

Pleasantly Surprising, worth the $131.

I was honestly surprised how warm this was when I put this on. I've never owned a down vest, but tried on several and this was my favorite by far. It's warm enough to wear ontop of a sweatshirt, 1/4 zip, or full zip sweater of sorts. Not too bulky.

Nice product but too small

Cotopaxi makes a great product. I love the look of this vest and was excited to own it, but the XXL sizing is way too small, almost comparable to an XL in other brands. Sadly, I will have to return it and go with a different vest.

Nice vest!!

For the money, as good as $100 vests. Warm, long, and a good zipper. I like the pocket positions. My arms are long. I’d buy it again.

My Elegant Solazo Puffer Vest

This is my first purchase of a puffer vest. i thought it would be too warm for Seattle, but I had been thinking of my long-sleeved down ski jacket. This vest is comfy without making me feel hot. This is also the first time I have bought a Cotopaxi garment. I find them artistically colored and designed. Mine is dark blue on top, chocolate brown in the middle, and peanut butter on the bottom. It will work with my sweaters, solid-colored shirts, chinos and jeans. Satisfied Ron
