Pants feel great!

Today I purchased two pairs of these pants. Gamma AR and Gamma AR Brushed. Really hard to see a difference between them but both feel amazing! Very comfortable and warmer than I thought! Great for rainy hikes or days in general as these pants repel water. Great pockets in front and one on the side. I got the Medium size as I’m size 34 waist and they fit perfectly but Regular length is too long for me and short length are always out of stock. Love Arc’teryx quality and highly recommend. Only reason I gave 4-stars is because short length is always out of stock and I wish these pants were more fitted. Feels a bit baggy for me but good for layering!

Best pant I own

I bought these pants in 32 S, i am 180cm, 70kg, and the fit is perfect. I have a few regular gamma LT in medium that feel cold in paris winter and also sits under my ankle when i'm barefoot (so kind of a long fit). This one is perfect fit wise, so if you're not over 180cm i recommend trying the short versions of pants that are not that short and provide a better fit overall. The material on the pants is perfect, it's comfortable, light, warm, and water resistant. I also wear it to work or going out. Great pants.

AWESOME AR BRUSHED!

I absolutely love the new AR Brushed. Really like that it has the front clip for your laces and draw string both. I just wished Arc'teryx kept the front lace clip on the LT! The AR Brushed feels so great against the skin so soft, immediate comfort! The Wee Burly™ Double Weave always has that great stretch and the legs articulation is spot on. I have a 29" inseam and the medium/short is a great fit as usual. I got mine in the cloud and it is a great color grey, love the Brushed AR!

Love these pants!

I am really glad Arc'teryx restocked the short sizes. Since the Gamma pants have articulated knees and those points change on the Short/Regular/Tall inseams its definitely worth it to get the right length. These are trim and offer super easy and natural movement. They are warm and breathable. Kept me warm down to about 30 degrees while skiing. I wish the leg opening was a bit bigger to put over some slimmer ski boots though but cant wait to take these ice climbing and hiking more

Comfort and durability

Overall very pleased with these...great feel inside and out, seeming to be pretty tough thus far, good built-in belt, and good drawstrings at the ankle. The snap closure on the waist leaves a lot to be desired, but the belt helps keep that in check. Overall would love to buy more, but...not much point in offering an array of sizes if they are almost literally never in stock...

Great winter climbing pants

I have been using the gamma AR brushed for winter ice and mixed climbing this season and they have performed exceptionally. The fit is cut for mobility but also isn't too baggy. They are warm and pair well with long underwear. Looking forward to using in the alpine this spring and summer. I would love to see a climbing specific version with crampon tear resistant cuffs.

Good fit and they wear super well

This is the third pair of Gammas I have owned. They are a trim fit that's perfect for me (size 30 waist, 150 lbs) Very clean design and the fabric has been bomber, stretchy and extremely comfortable. Worn daily during the summer guiding season, they are close to perfect for me. Maybe an extra pocket on the left leg would be good, but overall these pants are superb.

Fantastic!

Extremely comfortable and wears well. Love the fabric and feel. Very similar in fabric feel compared to gamma Lt but a bit more heavy weight. Perfect for winter, shoulder seasons. Too warm for summer. I got 34r. I’m 170lbs, 5’11”, waist 35-36. Fits comfy. Would recommend.

Good for the job

I have them since 15 days and snow showers are back! Good for windy and cold conditions. Why don’t they put 2 other pockets on the back?

Great Pants

A very heavy duty pants for hiking. Preferred the numbered sizing better than the letter sizing. A bit baggy in the seat area.
