Easy setup and use

Bought this after using in bike fit and first unit was defective. Wahoo replaced it and I love riding on this. Very easy set up 10 min with beer! Stable platform and easy app integration (15 min with beer). Only drawback is the lowest resistance has me at 100w - which is good for Z1 for me but might not work for wider tires. High range is all you got+. A bit heavy and bulky, so not ideal for travel. Perfect for home trainer. Bike in/out in seconds (with or without beer).

Great Design, But Not Smart Without Xtra $$$

Cool design. I purchased this to use with my track bikes so that I don't have to use the rear wheel. I should have read the manual first. I assumed that since this costs two or three times as much as the Kickr Snap that it would have the likely better functionality and would at least try to estimate a power output to use with a smart training app, but it does not! This trainer REQUIRES an external power meter for all but the most basic functionality that could be provided by a non-smart resistance trainer for $50 used. Absolutely infuriating.

Kickr Core to Rollr

Absolutely love the Kickr Rollr. It replaced my Kickr Core just over a month ago, and I ride it as often as possible. Easy to setup out of the box, and putting my Bike on takes less than 5 seconds. I'm using it with the Wahoo Direct Connect to a Hub, making discoverable on my Network for Zwift. My Bike already had a Quarq Power Meter, and connecting was a breeze. I enjoy the natural feel when riding which I didn't get from Core.

Wahoo Roller

I purchased the Kicker Roller to replace my old on wheel trainer. The ability to quickly and easily install the bike was my main reason. After using it daily for over a month now, I am very pleased with the performance of this trainer. It has a lot more resistance than my previous trainer, is very quiet, and the ability for the rear tire to move on the rollers provides a very realistic road feel. This movement provides a lot more comfort and allows for longer workouts. I have also noticed very little tire wear, and a training tire is not necessary. It linked right up to my Garmin Edge and is well made, and I look forward to many years of service. Thanks, Greg.

Great smart trainer

I bought this trainer because I wanted something for Zwift and uploaded TriDot workouts for our family stays in Michigan. Did some work on the side to cover the cost. I’ve owned a kickr, which is great, but the rollr is a) less expensive and b) allows easy on/off with the bike. Contrary to what I had read, it’s not too noisy, and provides a very realistic riding feel. I don’t keep the front wheel clamped very tightly which allows a bit of back and forth. My tri bike already had power meter pedals, so not including a power meter was no big deal. Really enjoying getting my training workouts in, then easily popping the bike off for outdoor rides. Very happy with my rollr!

Wahoo for Wahoo ROLLR!

Had a bike accident on Father’s Day fracturing all the bones in my left arm. Without Gavin use of my left hand/arm- I ordered the rollr right away and when I was able to ride again, I hopped on, joined Zwift and absolutely LOVE IT! I am able to hold my arm in a sling and still ride. Living in southern Florida without elevation to be seen, I can acquire loads of meters of elevation virtually! What a great way to train. I set up my garage with a tv, stereo, fan, and iPad for Zwift. I watch my YouTube concerts, GCN and other favs for inspiration on the trainer. Getting stronger than ever. Might not return to the dangerous roads outside nearly as often as before. Thank you Wahoo!

Great convenient smart trainer

I have ridden "old school" rollers for 30+ years. I wish that everyone would learn to ride them, because they improve your form tremendously. I needed to start "Zwifting" and needed a smart trainer. I went with the Kickr Rollr and I'm glad I did. I did not expect it to feel like rollers, and they don't. It is like a quality traditional trainer in feel. BUT, it is VERY convenient because you simply place your bike into/onto it. No attachment. Great for this time of year when I'm on the trainer one day and on the road the next. All Wahoo products coordinate with Zwift quite easily.

A Strong Win for Me!

Absolutely outstanding. I wish more products were so well designed, built, packaged, and functional. I have absolutely zero complaints and I'm 100% satisfied. A couple of the YouTube reviews show the rear tire bouncing and one reviewer mentioned it as a problem. Pump the tire up to the same pressure you would ride it on the road and there is no bouncing. I am 160 pounds and ride a tubeless 25mm Continental at 100 psi and I get a very realistic ride. The ROLLR easily linked to my sensors and my laptop running SYSTM and RGT. I use a TICKR and a 4iiii power meter and a Coros Pace2 watch and all work together very well - I even used my ELEMNT once to see if the numbers were different and all agreed (and all connected simultaneously, which amazes me). This is not a trainer you are going to feel comfortable sprinting at a frame-twisting 1200 watts, but that is not what I was looking for. I was looking for a cold weather and rainy weather indoor training solution and ramping to 900 watts for short bursts is just fine as long as you are smooth. The ease of pulling the bike off for a ride outside is the big win - 5 seconds off, 5 seconds back on the next time it rains. Couldn't be happier.
