I love my snow shoes for trails at home (flats/smallish hills) easy to put on… A teeny bit heavy but I generally don’t notice it. However- not the best for higher peaks, ice covered slopes or steep rocky terrain… Going up a particularly steep icy trail I had a hard time gaining good traction and ended up turning around because I lost a shoe. Heel lifts worked great however!
