My Go-To Mittens
These are my go-to hiking mitts, and I have 8 pairs of mitts to choose from. They're that good. They're light in weight, but warm. In really cold weather, I drop a hand warmer in--they're roomy enough that my hand never touches the hand warmer, but it warms up the space enough to make these good to about -15. They block the wind, but aren't waterproof. That said, even wet they continue to insulate. If they do get wet, they dry faster than any of my other mittens/gloves. Lastly, the fit of these mittens is so comfortable. They're wide enough and long enough that they don't feel tight, but not sloppy loose, either.
Warm mittens
I am very happy with these mittens--plenty warm for 20 degree days, and pull on easily with the elastic.
Toasty Fingers
These are the best mittens I've owned. They are light weight, but because of the technology Patagonia has developed, they really do keep your hands toasty. Had a pair which I lost, so had to replace them.
Pretty and warm!
