Lovely warm leggings for winter dog walks

Hi have previous pairs of the thermodynamic leggings. How do these compare? They are overall a tighter fit than the thermodynamic leggings but they don’t have the sheen. The thickness is about the same. I am 5ft 4 and have gone full length, which is also the same as thermodynamics. All other leggings I buy 7/8 length. Just for reference I bought 4 pairs in black/blue and in both lengths. Both pairs of the blue leggings were overall smaller. Maybe the fabric is slightly different. I am keeping the black pair in medium and I usually am between a 12-14. The blue pair I think will have to be replaced for a large.

Great - but I miss adjustable waistband

I adore everything about my thermodynamic leggings from years past, except the shine, so when I saw these I wanted to try them. I read the reviews and sized up, which was definitely the right decision. The only problem is the waistband does feel a little loose and I thought they were going to slip down as they ran. I haven’t found that to be a problem so far, however. I do think they would be more comfortable with a tie waistband like the other leggings. They look great and so far feel warm, although they are not as thick as the thermodynamics and we haven’t had very cold weather yet. So comfortable it encourages me to get out there, so that’s a definite plus!

Best SB Leggings in Years!

These are the best SB leggings I've bought in a long time. They're a lovely, soft material but warm in the wind and chill - I can't stop wearing them and so far, they have washed quite well, too! They have been used both for outdoor workouts and hikes. I took advice from previous reviews and sized up, as I have always had heavier legs and calves and didn't want to be disappointed. I'm 5'10", UK 12/14 and bought the full-length XL (normally a comfortable L). Definitely worth doing, although they are *slightly* too big in the waist, but I am sure that I would have struggled to get them comfortably over my legs in an L. That's okay though - I still love them and will buy the black pair for sure!

Bring back the Thermodynamics!

Firstly, the material is lovely and soft. I’ve worn SB for years and always a L/XL depending on the legging (size 16/18, wear a L in the powers typically). Can’t even get the XXL past my knees with these and horribly tight round the calves. Really disappointing as there’s absolutely no stretch to them whatsoever. My last pair of Thermodynamics fell apart after one winter season so was hoping these would be a great alternative - but not meant to be. The original pair of Thermodynamics I have from years ago are still going strong - SB, please go back to your old favourites, sizing and quality!

SO warm

I bought these for winter walks as its always hard to keep your leg warm unless you have a a really long coat. These have a really light fleece lining inside that keeps your legs really warm, they are fairly tight to put on compared to the powers but it makes sense as they are thicker. They are snug but I would still say to get whatever size you get in the powers, and if you don't have any SB leggings get a size down from what you are thinking of buying if you want to keep them tight. Can see myself wearing these a lot this winter as its already freezing! #teamsweatybetty

Warm running leggings

I only wear Zero gravity leggings for running normally but needed a warmer pair for cold weather runs. These are perfect for that. From reading reviews I didn't think they would fit (I'm a size 10 on bottoms and ordered a S) but they fit really well and most importantly, they stay up when running! They are now my ultimate running leggings during the winter months and the pocket on the left leg is great. I use it for my Iphone 13 Pro and the leggings still stay up even though it's quite a heavy phone. Definitely recommend for all runners. #teamsweatybetty

Not sure how I feel about these…

I bought these in my usual size small (I’m a 10/12) they are an effort to get on as they’re not as stretchy as other types but once they’re on they fit like a glove. They don’t have a drawstring on the waist and the leg pocket is in a bit of an odd place compared to normal powers/thermos, also I’m a bit worried they’ll stretch out of shape easily. They are however exceptionally soft and look great on. I’ll probably end up keeping them as I don’t like the shine on the normal thermos, but wear them more for walks rather than running.

cosy

lovely cosy warm leggings, i normally fit a medium in leggings but want to buy a large to fit the extra winter pounds... and they fit very well. Love the material, feels really nice wearing them. The only negative thing i would say, the phone pocket is way too low... and you put your phone in your side pocket it feels like to ways the leggings down because of its position. I normally buy the power leggings and they are up higher and in better position. Whats going on Sweaty?

Super soft thermal leggings

I love the feel of these leggings-the inside is so soft. I bought these just for walking in and they look great and keep me warm. I am 5ft 3 and wear 7/8 which fits more full length in this style. I really like the extra reflective detail on the navy and find the seam super flattering. Only thing is I find the pocket too low down on the leg for me and tend not to use it to hold my phone. Overall a great pair of leggings to have in your wardrobe #teamsweatybetty

Therma vs thermodynamic leggings

I wanted to wait until I had done a run in cold conditions before reviewing. The plus points: super soft and smooth outer and inner. Comfortable, Flattering, reasonably warm and stylish. The negatives: awful position of side pocket. Right on thigh muscle…just no! However the back zip pocket does fit a bigger sized mobile phone with a bit of wrangling and whilst being less accessible. No drawstring cord but I didn’t need one to be fair. So how do they measure up? They are good and comfortable but I think the thermodynamic leggings are a bit warmer and thicker and have better side pocket placement and so on balance I would pick the thermodynamic leggings (no longer available online though) over these. I have to say both are very good at keeping the chill off, sweat wicking and being supremely comfortable so I am being super picky!
