Great magnet but poor finish
The magnet is super powerful. No worries of it tipping over when connected to the MagnePod. They hit the nail on the head with functionality. Unfortunately, the finish is of poor quality. I am very easy on my things and the finish on my cup is starting to peel after only a few weeks of usage and hand washing. The finish is very thin. It's peeling around the upper edge and in a random spot in the middle of the cup. The finish is not at all comparable to the finish on the "big name" brand cups, which is a shame because these are so much cooler. Fix the finish and Bote has a home run with this cup!

The looks id the color is champ! Keeps my drink cold and stays on the board without spilling.
20oz Magnetumbler
I like the tumbler, even though it's pricey. The lid sets very securely on it & it is very effective @ keeping your drinks cold/hot. It's nice how it "sticks" to my Lono's magnepod although, depending on where your seat is adjusted, the magnepod might not be usable. The downsides of the magnetic base of tumbler are it will grab your keys and other metal objects near it and if you set it on the ground you'll pick up magnetic pebbles, dirt, and, if you're lucky, treasure
Great For Not Spilling
This tumbler is perfect for on the go. The magnet is super strong and helps the cup stay upright on any magnetic service. The only “negative” is that I wish it kept the drinks cool/hot for longer. Tried it out with both hot coffee and a cold beer, and the tumbler didn't insulate as well as my other tumblers. Overall though, it's a fun piece to add to our Bote collection.
Great tumbler, strong magnet
We bought 8 tumblers for four zeppelin kayaks. They work extremely well. The tumblers function well and the magnet is strong enough that it holds its position in the kayak even in waves. My only complaint would be that the Zepplin kayak itself doesn't have two receiving magnets meaning when you're in tandem mode, only one person gets the magnetic tumbler. :(
Love It! I can finally have my morning coffee on the board
Bravo BOTE! Once again you've come up with a great product. My only complaints about the stash pod were, 1. it's too small for my travel mug and 2. it's too small for today's huge car key fobs. The magnepod tumbler fixes #1, and well, Hurricane Sally gave us new cars, so #2 fixed itself. Continued great work by the home team!
Nice mug, but not enough magnetic spots on kayak....
This is a nice addition for any trip, but there is only one connection point on my zepplin, and if I am taking it out with my wife in front, her seat falls on the connection point... so not useful. Great idea, but needs more connection points, and the ability to add magnetic bases to other items (like my sealable bottles).
Cold cold, and hot hot! A little pricey, but worth it.
Really enjoying the MagneTumbler. I usually stop by a drive through on my way to the water, pour it in my cup and away I go. I did switch out the lid with a magslider from another "outdoor company" and it fit perfectly, which works out because that company's tumbler did not fit in my vehicle cupholder (the Bote does)
Cool, Innovative, and Functional
The MAGNETubler works great as a flask; it's got good capacity and keeps drinks cold for hours (I recently used it on a 6 hour kayak trip and contents remained cold throughout). I assume it works well for hot drinks too but have not yet tested that out. The magnet is very strong, meaning that when you set your drink down on the magnipod right in front of your seat, it's going to stay put until you're ready for another swig. It's also undeniable that this thing is just cool. Not only does it blend nicely with the Zeppelin's retro color aesthetic, but I find it impossible not to toss the tumbler from a distance just to see it clamp firmly onto the magnipod (not that I'm recommending that others do the same). Other kayakers drawn to gawk a bit at the Zeppelin itself are invariably wowed by MAGNETumbler. I do wish there were additional receiver pods on the Zeppelin floor (e.g., for your kayak-mate when going tandem) but I suspect BOTE will address that in a future design.
Excellent tumbler!
I bought this tumbler to go with my wife’s Zeppelin Aero 10’ Classic Seafoam Green inflatable kayak. The weight and finish of this tumbler are on par with other popular tumblers brands. The magnetic bottom is super powerful and grips tightly to the MAGNEPOD spot in her kayak. Worth the money for sure!
