I owned this hat for 30 glorious days before we had to part company. (It was not the hat's fault.) I bought this hat for a trip and I loved everything about it: the color, the chin strap and especially its packability. The hat rolled up very nicely and fit well in my backpack and when that wasn't convenient, I just hooked it onto my backpack straps by the chin straps. Unfortunately, I'm prone to motion sickness and my poor hat met an untimely end when it turned into a, uh, receptacle. Good to note, this was not an awesome receptacle because it's so breathable (but it gave me time to get the situation contained.) I've been back from my trip for a few days now and one of my first orders of business is to come back here and buy a replacement!
Cute but glue is flaking off
I like how this hat has a flexible brim. But the glue holding the beige band is coming off and the glue that’s suppose to hold it is flaking off. Probably will be easy to fix with some fabric glue or even some embroidery that can embellish the hat but I’d rather not have to deal with this when it is brand new.
Nice hat
Like previous reviewers, the hat band was no longer attached to the brim when I received it, so I peeled off the line of glue and sewed four points of the band to the hat. It looks great now, and I love the way it straightens out so easily after being crunched down. The fabric is great, and I actually like that it’s black.
