Helped me move from half marathon to full and hopefully ultra!
I love the lightly sweet, lightly salty flavor of all of the flavors. It’s nice to be able to sip as I run, without having to stop and eat a gel. It’s a constant drip of calories. I have two flasks on the front of my vest. One is clear water and one is a stick of Tailwind with about 12 oz of water. So it is concentrated. But I’ll do a sip of TW, then a sip of clear water. I’ve really struggled with GI distress and consuming enough calories during runs over the half marathon distance. I used to just sip some water every few miles. Having TailWind has enabled me to fuel for runs up to the marathon length. And I plan to have it with me during my first Ultra. Besides the convenience of the stick packs and the GI comfort, I love the flavor options. And the option is add caffeine. It gives me something to look forward to, when choosing which stick packs I want to take. So they make it fun. I also bring TW for hikes, kayaking trips, camping and even when I know I’ll be logging a lot of steps. I brought it to the UK and Ireland, just as a source of calories as I walked many, many steps. Lastly, I also find the combination of calories and electrolytes help when I’m feeling sick. After my second Covid booster I had an awful hangover feeling. Endurance mix made a huge difference. I had Covid while in the UK and drinking some TailWind really helped me feel better. Thanks TW, for enabling my adventures!
Tongass Toughman
The Tailwind Endurance saved my life during my first half Ironman. This event took place on a tiny island in Southeast Alaska, with a chilly ocean swim, along with a spicy biking and running route - both offering up 3000ft of elevation gain. To top it off, it was hot and dusty - which isn’t typical for the Tongass rainforest. I created a concentrate, consuming Tailwind calories only throughout the entire event. I had some dark moments, especially while biking, but my nutrition felt on point.

The product speaks for itself, as it’s clean and I’ve enjoyed using it to fuel my marathon training. What started out as just fuel purchase, turned into recovery and hydration 🥰; now all I need is ‘food’ in the form of solid fuel to complete my senses with Tailwind (with a chew factor 🤣🤣🤣). In addition to that, the personal touches (handwriting my name to the pouch, adding a sticker to my order, and sometimes handwritten notes) to the order makes it extra ordinary for me!
I have been absolutely loving
I have been absolutely loving the endurance fuel line. The flavors are fantastic. Not overpowering to the point where its a fake taste however not so mild that its water with a hint of something different. They have keep me and the MTB out on the trails. I'm looking forward to traveling the states this summer with all entire product line to keep the body fresh and healthy.
Tailwind - Rocky Raccoon 100 Miler
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do not do well with solid foods during ultras and am highly dependent on Tailwind for calories. This past weekend I was able to complete Rocky Raccoon 100 miler in Huntsville Texas. I had brought and used between 8-10 naked packs for my flask per 20 mile loop! Tailwind also was a sponsor so I was able to also use tailwind at each AS if I ran out !
Dauwaltermelon is the Best!!
On my third bag of Dauwaltermelon!!! This stuff is great tasting and does the job on my 100-150mile endurance training rides. Maybe they will bring Grape back too!
