I love Thule

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Thule Clean/Dirty Packing Cube is an excellent travel accessory for anyone who wants to pack efficiently. Its dual compartments keep clean and dirty clothes separate, and the mesh panels allow for easy visibility into what's inside. The compartment is also marketed as floating, which really means that theres enough fabric for either compartment to expand to take up more of the middle portion, i.e. as you have more dirty clothes throughout the trip. The cube is durable, lightweight, and versatile, making it great for all kinds of luggage, whether its weekend bags, checked, or carryon luggage. I've used a number of different packing cubes, and this one is superior.

Does what it's for but I wish it was compressible.

I like Thule products for travel and the Clean/Dirty Packing Cube is a nice addition to my gear. I used this item on a recent 4 day trip and I no issues. The zippers are very strong, both worked well. The material is also pretty strong while being lightweight. The Clean/Dirty Packing Cube isn't compressible so using it when I'm flying with one bag does present some challenges. Especially if you over pack. Cause now you can't fit the uncompressed clothes back into your luggage. That said I'll keep it around for when I'm taking longer trips and have a check-in bag.

Durable and the perfect size

I use this as my sole packing cube for long trips and soon to be indefinite travel. This thing swallows clothes. I can fit 2 pants, 1 pair of shorts, 3 shirts, 3 pairs of socks, 5 pairs of underwear, and 1 lightweight jacket. It’s tight but not close to bursting. I’ve carried this with me on 5 trips so far and have no complaints. Being able to separate clean and dirty clothes easily is fantastic, though does require you to tightly roll your dirty clothes like you do clean.

Great for bike commuting and travel

This two-sided case worked better than I expected for taking a few days of fair-weather clean clothes to work, leaving them in a locker, and bringing them back at the end of the week. Handles are sturdy and hang well. No signs of wear after a year. Now I'm not commuting by bike anymore and the cube worked really well as the clothes "hamper" on a multi-week trip. The fabric and divider are a little stiff, which can be a plus (it keeps its shape) or minus (it doesn't compress down easily). Perhaps the only improvement I could suggest would be a zip-open panel that exposed mesh for times when you want the clothes to breathe or dry out.

Separates clean clothes from dirty!

I bought this bag to replace a packing cube with clean and dirty compartments from Flight001 (rip). During a longer trip, I like to have a separate compartment to store clothes that I have already worn but that can be worn again (e.g. jeans and sweaters), but I don't want them to touch the "clean" clothes that haven't been worn yet. Most packing cubes do not give you the clean/dirty separation, but this one does. I was able to fit more clothes in this bag than I expected (I fold the clothes flat inside it, folded to fit into the bag as flat as possible, rather than rolling them). The bag is a good size to fit into carry-on luggage (two can fit side by side). The material seems sturdy and rigid, the zippers are good quality. This particular bag does not compress, but I stuffed it full, and it was not a problem for me. I have tried a few other packing cubes in my search to replace my old ones, and this bag is my favorite.

Goes everywhere with me

I've had this for 2 years and take it everywhere. It's a great shoe bag for me - I've been able to fit anywhere from 1-3 pairs of shoes in it (women's size 7.5). Love that it expands too. I fit this plus three REI packing cubes in my carry on luggage.

Excellent Quality, One Major Drawback

I used this packing cube for three months backpacking through Europe and I have to say, the quality is out of this world. I packed this thing to the brim and there were no zipper splits or loose threads. It is well worth the price for the quality. There are, however, a few minor drawbacks and one larger one. The minor ones include the white color getting dirty quickly, and the thickness when fully packed is not great for minimalist travel. The big drawback is that it seems to fit less and less the more you split between the compartments. While this could be an error on my end, it was frustrating that I couldn't get everything I packed into the clean compartment packed back into it between the two compartments. That said, I would highly recommend this cube, especially for shorter-term travel with luggage or a bag larger than 40L. I will personally go with the compression version next time.

New Favorite Accessory!

Bought this on a whim walking around the store before a trip. I was really after a compression cube but was intrigued by the clean/dirty side as I always steal the laundry bag in the hotel and it becomes very bulky to pack towards the end of the trip. This cube surprised me! I really loved having my dirty laundry "compressed" and separated from my clean items. Zippers are really high quality and easy to use. I really like how they are made to not catch on the items in the cube. Already recommended this to others who were looking for a packing cube upgrade.

Sturdy material, good zippers

Only used this once but initial impressions are good. I believe it will hold up much better than my Eagle Creek (never have been impressed with that brand and still cringe when I have to mention it) which has came apart along the seam. For the price though it should be a nicer color; that white color is a little weird; looks like it could yellow over time and not really bright to start with. And no, “environmentally friendly” is not an excuse there are colored materials that are environmentally sustainable to use.

Quality product

I so appreciate the dirt/clean separation option of this bag. High quality material. Strong zippers to handle a heavy load.
