Speed laces
I bought these for a pair of my ultra trail runners just to eliminate the laces. The Benefit of being able to just slide the on and off was attractive to me. After using them a couple of times I actually feel like the trail runners have a better form on my feet. A more even tension across the whole foot.
Slip in easy
Slip on ease with traditional lace security. Work great once you get them dialed in.

There are better stretch lace options out there
Once installed, these work well, but installation is difficult and time consuming, at least the first time. A big problem was that the laces barely fit through the fabric loops on my shoes, and through the eyelets only with difficulty. Like another reviewer, I manged to rip off the plastic seals at the ends of the laces when I mis-threaded them the first time and had to pull them back through. There are easier-to-install stretch lace options on the market.
Don't waste your time
I bought these for a pair of shoes that doesn't have grommets on the lace eyes. The ends of these were way too thick to get through and I wound up losing both of the metal lace tips that are there to push through the eyes making it impossible to lace the entire shoe. Also, these are even long enough for my size 11s. Buyer beware.
Oh well
I bought these four months ago and liked them a lot (see earlier review). This morning one broke. They were on my Hoka Clifton 9s, which are worn every threee days--rotation with two other pairs of Hokas.
Check Your Package
My local store doesn't carry these, so I had to order them online. Nonetheless, the elastic laces supplied with new Hoke Transporters work great, so I decided to try them on my Hoke Clifton 9s. This after years of eschewing such things as a triathlete and as a triathlon official watching triathletes put shoes on. I'm now converted. Unfortunately, the first set came without toe clips, but REI customer service quickly remedied that. Love them.
Great service and product
Sales person went above and beyond to help us with this purchase, even installing them on the shoes for my 94 year old mother.
Solid BOA alternative
I removed on star because the first set I bought was reflective, but these were not. They work well. I do not have to use the bottom retaining bit, I do not know how well that will work. It takes a few minutes to adjust the tension in the various parts of my feet, but once that is done, I am good for the run. I have done 14 miles of trail with these, and I did not have to mess with loosening laces.
