Dry and safe in the wettest week in 80 years
2 weeks of backpacking in Yellowstone in July 2021 … it was Yellowstone’s wettest week in 80 years and my daughter stayed dry as a bone. Thank you Marmot for making adult quality hyperlight technical clothing for children. Kids need quality rain gear even more than adults! Well done.
Awesome Rain and Ski Shell Fit For an Adult
Great shell for my active 9 year old that is great for rain showers and skiing with a fleece layer underneath. The red color makes it easy to spot him when he is shredding down the slopes. The features on this jacket are fit for a tech savvy adult!
Excellent option for kids goretex.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This coat keeps my daughter completely dry, even in a heavy downpour. We bought this for our youngest to be able to hike in the nine rainy months we have here in the Pacific Northwest. We tested the coat in a very heavy downpour, stayed under the rain for a solid 10 minutes, went inside, everything covered by the coat was completely dry. Very satisfied, I only wish someone made a goretex pro shell for children. This coat is the next best thing.
Kids’ Minimalist jacket lacking features.
I ordered this kids’ Minimalist jacket because my wife and I have the adult Minimalist jackets and we love them. I was disappointed as the kids’ jacket does not have all the features that the adult jackets have. There is no hood adjustment, no wrist adjustment, no waist adjustment, no vent zippers under the arms. This is a good jacket but could be much better.
Great kid’s jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This the second time we have bought the minimalist jacket and it holds up really well on rainy days in Alaska and as an outer layer in all conditions. We like the easy zippers, big hood and pockets and the durable feeling of the fabric.
Great quality, rain jacket for a great price
This is a great quality rain jacket! It fits true to size. My daughter loves the color. I would definitely recommend this, and will buy again if it is still available when she outgrows this one.
