Powerful protection - Extremely Impressive
I bought into the system idea, but have not yet fitted any of the mounts to either car or motorcycle. Yesterday, I did a short run on my motorcycle with the iPhone 13 Pro in my pocket. On return - disaster. The phone was missing. A quick "Find My" and the phone was located active but at the side of the motorway. Fortunately I was able to retrieve it and could not be more impressed. The phone must have dropped out of my pocket when I was doing more than 60 mph (100 km/h) and bounced to the side of the road. It's working perfectly and there isn't a mark on it. The case isn't even that badly marked. I'm seriously impressed.
Well-designed, good value (IF using Peak products)
I've come to appreciate Peak Design's very well-thought out and manufactured mobile accessories. And this case is no exception. My favorite detail is that screen edges of the case barely interfere with swiping, especially for unlocking and Notification/Control Center gestures. However I'd pay more if they offered aluminum buttons and just ever so slightly less prominent. Since the magnets are only "MagSafe compatible", it doesn't connect as strongly to MagSafe chargers as a case that is specifically for MagSafe, which is a little disappointing if you use a vertical mount like in a vehicle. The connection to the mobile wallet is very secure so I ordered the Peak Design 1" charging ball mount (waiting for it to ship as of this review.) Personally, I would have preferred if the edges of the case were flatter, to better match the iPhone 14 Pro profile.
Excellent case with so much functionality
Design: The Everyday Case is well engineered to protect your phone from falls. The case has a rubberized feel to it, thereby preventing slips. This is a sharp looking case. This back of the case has some canvas on it that matches the Wallet Stand and blends in well. Functionality and Durability: The Everyday Case is an extremely durable case. The case has strong magnets built into the back that helps it latch on to other Peak Design accessories such as the Car Mount and the Wallet Stand. The backside also has the Peak Design proprietary SlimLink connector that helps the case latch onto other PD accessories such as the Creator Kit (which I have and will review shortly) and the Bike Mounts. This is a neat physical/mechanical connector that ensures that the Phone is not left to the whims of magnetism. The case also has eyelets for adaptation with PD’s Anchor Links. You can use the Anchor Links and use one of PD’s leashes to carry your phone around your neck or sling style! I am really enjoying the Case. For the first time, I feel the case adds value and extreme usability (Via the PD Mobile existence of accessories).
Great so far. Nice design and mounting
Only a couple days into use but wanted to leave an initial review. Used on iPhone 13 Pro Max Screen protector: A lot of reviews put me off this product as if the screen protector peeled off it would be a deal breaker. I’m happy to say that it works with a close fit (see photos) using the Spigen EZ fit tempered glass. I think other brands may be too large for this case or they’ve been installed not perfectly central and therefore the case catches it. Design: Real nice design with the grey material and black boarders. The buttons are easy to push and it’s as comfortable as can be to hold for a large phone. I saw a review saying the bottom can dig into your pinkie. However it is only slight and haven’t yet found it a problem. Mounting: I got the creator kit as I intend to the mount this to the capture kit (see photos) and the wall mount to fix to my paragliders flight deck. It fits great and locks in well giving me piece of mine as I don’t want my phone to fall out of the air when mounted. This is the only product that meets this requirement so if your mounting your phone in ski/bike etc this is great for those types of activities. Overall I thinks it’s great so far, looks great, mounts well and actually works with a screen protector. I think it’s good value and cheaper than generic apple cases and the MagSafe accessories work well and the magnets are nice and strong. Will update if things change
Great design & amazing feeling
I bought this case one month ago and coulnd't have made a better choice! The material is soft and pleasant to hold. The color is very nice! I love the details of this case! Well thought out! Also the size of the case leaves enough room for the display protection sheet! The delivery was fast too.
The Best iPhone Case
I waited for what felt like a year for Peak Design Mobile products to release and the end result was very much worth the wait. The case itself is beautiful and has a dark charcoal nylon canvas finish on the back (my model was for the iPhone 13 Pro). It is super protective with the TPU bumper but what surprised me was how slim they managed to make this case with all the protection and features it is packing. The model I got comes with a finger loop that can help add to your grip and magnetically stays attached to the case so that it is out of the way. The magnets are strong and work with all my MagSafe accessories along with their intuitive SlimLink accessories from Peak Design. If you have any of Peak Design's anchors it will also be able to attach to the bottom of the case if desired ( a nice touch I didn't even know about until hands on with the product). The only downside I can think of is that not all screen protectors will work with this product so make sure you find one that lines up and doesn't touch the lip of the bumper before installing. Overall this product is a solid 10/10 and I can't wait for what the future holds for this line of products.
The Loop Changes Everything
Who would have thought that a phone case could be transformative? I picked up the iPhone 14 Pro Everyday Case. The case looks cool, protects the phone, and I love how it pairs with the stand wallet. However, the crazy good feature is the Loop. I was traveling and walked through a number of beautiful areas in Italy that were new to me. The Loop made it easy to hang on to my phone and check walking directions using map apps without worrying about dropping or loosing my phone. Then when not in use, the Loop folds neatly against the case and I would attach the Stand Wallet to keep my credit cards and a few euros all in one place. So cool.
Potential Fix for Screen protector problems
Like many other reviews and comments, my Peak Design case for my S21 Ultra started to pull up my screen protector not long after I got it. While I see many people saying that this may be a potential deal breaker or prevent them from buying the case, I found a simple modification to the case can solve the problem entirely. While the PD team may not entirely approve or recommend this, if you want to have a screen protector While using the case, I highly suggest trying this! All you have to do is take an exacto knife and sliver away part of the rubber lip the comes up onto the screen. I tried this and NO MORE SCREEN PROTECTOR PEELAGE. You can go along the edges of the case and cut away the corners depending on what areas are pulling up your protector. Now I did this all in about 5 minutes and did a pretty sloppy job. If you take your time, you could easily do this and no one would ever know. I don't notice at all because I'm not really looking at the edges of my case in the first place, it all just blends in eventually. As you can see from the photos, it's pretty hard to tell despite me not caring too much. (Also, yes my screen protector is cracked and that is from my previous case combo and why I love protectors)! Hope this helps some people who want all the benefits the case offers, but don't care too much about it looking perfect and don't mind taking a knife to their brand new case ;) DISCLAIMER: Might void warranty and was only tested on S21 Ultra case
Everyday Case with Great Ecosystem
I bought this during kickstarter launch and was extremely satisfied with the case. Peak Design has never disappoint their customers! One of the features I’m impressed with is the stronger magnet system which will ensure that the phone is secured. The mobile everyday case has a good feel and touch to it and definitely sturdy enough to protect the phone! One shortfall is that there are limited screen protectors in the market that can fit the phone, nevertheless, it is a great case and I’m loving it!
Faultless phone case, highly recommended
Have been looking for a solution to attach my phone to my mountain bike to help with trail/road navigation for some time. During my research, came across peak design in various YouTube reviews and when I compared to available options, I thought they were best in every aspect, style, functionality, usability etc. Bought this case and out front bike mount a few weeks ago and have been very pleased and impressed by both in every way. Phone case looks and feels good, and doesn’t add too much extra size to phone overall. It has just the right balance between grip and slip, eg easily slips into pocket (unlike some more rubbery cases), yet feels secure when holding phone. Mounting system is first class, quick to attach/remove phone with one hand and trouble free thanks to magnetic alignment system. Holds securely, no wobble, easy to install/adjust mount etc and now includes spacers for all popular handlebar sizes. It is exactly as per peak design marketing video. Only issue is phone getting mud splatter running down very soggy UK MTB trails, but I have solved that using cheap waterproof phone sleeve with small hole cut to allow peak design mount to work as normal (see pics).
