I abuse my shoes daily, my dogs get run on my half mile trail every morning. It’s usually wet in some sections. It’s steep and loamy with roots and rocks. Traction-7 of 10….longevity-6.5 (see pics of glue repair) waterproof-9, they stay pretty dry! tread wear is even, the insoles held up, but they do reek. Worse than my other shoes. I tried it all, sun, fan, powder, freezing em. They still smell like hay mixed with foot stench. I bought another pair cause they took it like a champ for 2 seasons of daily abuse. I’m married so I don’t care if my feet stink. I love the lack of laces. I can throw these shoes on almost instantly they feel a little heavier than a light approach shoe, I think it’s a good middle ground for a trail running shoe for more gnarly trails. A 8 of 10 shoe. Worth the money.

The X Raise 2 Gore Tex was very comfortable on my 12 day trip to Glacier NP. I liked the new toe box protection improvement from the x raise 1. Great if there are no high stream crossings or deep snow. Did fine on rocks and scree
