Can't Say Enough Good Things

The leather is soft, the sole is thin, and the toe box is wide. I took out the insole and like them even more. They look great to wear to work, on a hike, and around town. I normally wear a size 11.5/12, I ordered an 11 and a 12 and kept the 11.

Excellent if you walk sole first.

I've been wearing zero drop boots for years and love them, but the Gobi II zero drop boots are less structured and I really like how they feel. I just got them so it too early to judge how they'll be on longer walks and hikes. 12/26/21 Still haven’t had a chance to wear for an extended period of time. 10/22/22 Started wearing these boots more often and noticed I had a soar and stiff lower back after walking a mile or more. Switched off between these zero drop boots and other zero drop boots from a different manufacturer and didn't have the back issue. Determined the Gobi II boots soles were not padded as much as my other zero drop shoes and boots and since I walk heel first my back was experiencing too much shock. I tried a number of sole inserts, but did not like the feel so I returned the boots to REI. I still think a 5 star score in in order, but these boots are best for those people who walk sole first.

Great ground feel and flex. Contemporary enough to wear at work. I am a 10.5 and fit great in an 11.
