Frustration abounds
Rode from Lisbon to northern Spain w/ this bag and wish I hadn't. The bag is not very waterproof and the handlebar attachment setup is horrible. Every time you take the bag off the bars, you waste a ton of time reattaching and tightening the bag back to the handlebar. Invariably, you'll need to stop and re-tighten. If there was a frame that could remain on the bike and the bag could come off of that, that's way better. The cushion bumpers can't be removed or easily reconfigured (for diff bike bars) so it's a very frustrating setup. The orange interior is helpful for rooting around for things, but that's it. Thus the two stars.
Practical Beyond Belief!
Love this addition to my Two Wheel Gear collection. Awesome for smaller trips out (brewery, quick run to the store) and is a high quality bag.
Fragile Fabric
I really liked the size, shape, and utility of this bag when I bought it. It fit on my bike well and easily held my gear. However, I am disappointed that after just two rides, holes have started to appear through the fabric on the bottom and the back of the bag. The holes on the bottom I could understand, because the bag is on a full suspension bike and I know that there were a couple of times on my ride that the bag probably hit the tire. The holes on the back of the bag are much more disappointing to me. The only thing the bag is rubbing against is my cables, which shouldn't be abrasive enough to cause failure in the material already. Unfortunately, the bag is no longer water resistant and will need to be either completely taped up or returned.
