Was good... for a while

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved these gloves at first. I got them primarily for the e tip and at first it was incredibly sensitive. I ordered them mid October, have washed them in the washing machine two times on delicate, and by the beginning of February about 80% of the etip material has fallen off and these gloves no longer work. I now need to remove them to use my car's touch screen which defeats the purpose of why I bought them in the first place. On top of that, there is already a hole in the wrist seam. These gloves only lasted me 3 months of consistent use, which is incredibly disappointing given the North Face's reputation.

I really love this product.

I walk to bus stop every day. And walk to work when I get off. I live downtown, so I prefer to walk to most of the places. And these gloves are so perfect. Not baggy fits well to your hands and can use mobile with no trouble.

Not for winter!

It's a nice pair of gloves, pretty and really works on smartphones. My only concern is that it seems like it's going to tear at the seam at anytime. But I do not recommend sizing it up, it would be too big.

Size up?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I read the reviews saying the sizing was off, but assumed a medium would be good enough for my ... average hands. They fit in in terms of width of my hand, but either these gloves are built for shorter fingers or my fingers are a heck of a lot longer and more elegant than I ever thought. The seam of the bottom of the glove hits maaaaybe right at the base of my palm - it would be nice if it were a centimeter longer. The fingers of the glove are about 0.5cm too short. Can't speak to the rest of the glove ... they seem warm-ish for what they are. Hopefully they're semi-waterproof so I can brush snow off the door of my car. If you look at your hands and think "oh, these are average, ordinary things," then get a large.

Non bulky griper gloves!

I'm glad more brands are trying to be eco friendly. These gloves are perfect for day to day activities. They are thin, so they aren't meant to keep your hands warm if the temperature is below 20 degrees F (or perhaps if you're outside for a longer period of time). I was looking for something that wasn't bulky and that would keep my hands warm while driving in the winter and going to and from the car. The gloves are able to be used with touch devices. I'm not sure if the information mentions this, but the palms of the gloves have a bumpy material that is meant to help you grip things. This is a nice added bonus to gloves that aren't bulky to begin with.

Best gloves Ever!

For Christmas I saw these and decided to get them for my mom and mother in law,but when I saw them I decided I really wanted a pair bc I loved how you could use your phone and keep your gloves on! I am a figure skater and runner and these are warm, stylish, and sleek. This is my third pair of these gloves, due to my skate blade cutting my fingers in my gloves from me grabbing my blade, and I am so happy I can type on my phones with these! Pink is a great accent to these stylish warm gloves. They fit true to size and are tight fitting which I love for winter. I am not a fan of bulky items which makes me love these fabulous gloves. Very happy with my purchase .

Perfect for average fall / winter weather

This is my go-to glove for most fall and winter days in the Virginia / DC region. Although I was concerned it would not be sufficiently wind resistant, it has proven warmer than I anticipated. Its best features are the easy on/off, the compatibility with touchscreens, and the palm grip that makes steering easier. I may hesitate to wear this glove on very blustery days if I know I will be outside and immobile (e.g., waiting at a bus stop) for an extended period, but it is perfect in most situations. I suspect that if I were engaging in more vigorous activity (i.e., anything besides waiting at a bus stop), this glove would probably be warm enough even on gustier days.

Don't buy these for warmth

please do not buy these gloves if you're looking for something to keep your hands warm. I live in Oregon where the temperatures are mild (usually around the 40's in the winter) and I bought them to keep my hands warm on my very short (1/4 mile) bike ride to work, as well as on short (2 mi) runs. They are useless. They don't block the cold, wind or the rain. The e-tip works great, but so does my finger when it's ungloved, which is essentially what you'll be if you buy them. North Face is usually a very reliable brand, which is why I went with these instead of some others. Bad job North Face. I expected so much more.

Not warm!

I am really disappointed about these gloves. They are not warm at all! I have small hands and was so excited about these gloves cause the XS one fits perfectly. They are flexible and comfortable. Etip works great. But they are definitely not warm. I wore them for a 10 min walk and my fingers were freezing and red all over. And it was only 28 F. Definitely not worth the money.

Alaska winter time cold! And she still wears them out!!

The gloves work great with my girlfriends phone. Although the temperature gets to negative 20 around this time of year, she still loves to wear them around town and while driving to our cabin. The fit is also so comfortable and sleek she able to slip her snow gloves over them for a snow machine ride, so she can easily take them off and use her phone.
