This shade hoody might be my new favorite article of clothing...so light, so comfortable, dries quickly, doesn't smell bad even after multiple days of all-day use, looks great. All-around fantastic!
Got this hoody after walking
Got this hoody after walking on the South West Coastal Path and getting way too hot. However first outing was on a cruise in Norway where I was also blessed with sunny weather. I used it while walking about and in the gym wash it out at night ready to go the next day. The fit is not loose but not tight either. I did get a slight pull in the fabric early on, my fault, pulled it through to the other side and can’t find in now. Will be a staple of my long distance walking from now on.
Great garment – I have
Great garment – I have two Rab Pulse vests but they now seem to have been superseded with the Rab Force which is much the same but just as good or better. Superb if you like me have a fair skin and want to stay outdoors for some time – super light and breathable and the hood keeps sunburn from your neck and side of face – no need for lots of sun cream. Also, brilliant to deter those pesky buzzing flies that lock on to your ears by use of the hood!
A lightweight lose fitting sun
A lightweight lose fitting sun hoodie. I wear mine for running as a base layer, waterproof jacket over the top of required. It's really comfortable, fast wicking. It might be a bit fragile, the material on the left sleeve if clicking a bit where it rests against my watch. Hopefully the hood prevents sunburn on the back of the neck when on those long trail runs. Will be wearing it over the summer on some longer hikes when in the mountains.

I bought this as a summer sun hoody and it works well. Comfortable all day on a long walk. Good fits and stays on with or without a light cap. After reading other reviews I sized up to XL (L Rab is usually a perfect fit) and glad I did. Bit of room to allow airflow but would still work as a base layer. Sleeves long enough but a bit stretched when using thumb loops.
Great Top but...
Great top fits well, does everything it says on the tin. The only issue I have with this top is the thumb loops. One of these detached itself from the top after the second or third time they were used. A bit of a pointless feature if this is what's going to happen. Probably better to integrate them into the sleeve, would be far more robust then.
Ordered this lightweight hoody to
Ordered this lightweight hoody to replace a similar lightweight Rab hoody that I lost. This fits the bill well although it is cut to be more form fitting than the previous item which was a looser fit. But is very comfortable to wear and is great for packing in a day pack without taking up any room. Great colour blue as well.
Perfect lightweight hoody that wicks well and offers sun protection
I bought one of these hoodie in red over a year ago. I was that impressed with its fit and performance I bought another in Dark Pewter. Great as an extra layer in summer when a fleece is too much. Plus offers great sun protection and wicks well

Superlight, cooling and breathable. Really good to garment for out in the heat to keep the sun off you but without over heating. The thumb loops are handy to cover your hands a bit from the sun Overall would recommend and purchase again
Thumb loops would be great
Thumb loops would be great and would make this an even more versatile top. As it is, it’s amazing. The hood is fantastic, though could do with being a tiny bit tighter. Incredible top, my new favourite. Would love some brighter colours
