Perfect all activity shorts
Best shorts I’ve ever had, so comfortable and lightweight. I’ve worn them for just about everything including hiking, cycling, kayaking, the pub and everyday clothing. I love them so much that I’m about to order another pair. Everything about them is so well designed and functional, from the fabric to the pockets and the drawstring waist. I’ve only had them a month, so fingers crossed that there are no issues as they age.
Real disappointment
I love RAB as a brand and regularly purchase thier clothing however, I was very disappointed with my most recent of the Momentum short. After only wearing the shorts a handful of time the stitching holding the pockets together came apart and the elastic in the waist belt folding in half which made them very uncomfortable to wear.
Lightweight, stretchy and comfortable shorts
Lightweight, stretchy and comfortable shorts with an elasticated waistband. They fit nicely and are not too tight on the thigh. Having bought 3 pairs, my only concern was that the elasticated mesh pockets on one pair of shorts had already started to frizz very slightly after their first wash.
Do it all running shorts
I'm not keen on super tight running shorts, these have a casual fit, they're very light, they dry quickly and they stand up to a lot of use and abuse. I have three pairs that I alternate. I live in them all summer and have for the last couple of years. For me they're an essential bit of kit.
I didn’t buy these for
I didn’t buy these for extreme climbing, I bought them for general light exercise, primarily walking, which for me is around 6 to 10 miles a day. They are excellent quality shorts and very comfortable. I own 3 pairs but will be buying more as summer progresses.
Very lightweight, quick drying shorts.
Very lightweight, quick drying shorts. They fit well and have a simple but effective waist adjustment mechanism. My only criticism is that the material "swishes" as you walk making them a little noisy! Otherwise, I am pleased with the purchase.

I am so happy with these shorts they are really comfortable have a great way to tighten the waist and dry super quick. These are the best shorts I have owned great for walking and hiking or just chilling out.
