Board is very pretty but
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Board is very pretty but construction is pretty meh. Lots of excess glue. Quality control didn’t seem to catch this one unfortunately.
Style, Strength, and Pure Paddle Joy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This board doesn’t just float—it flies. The Breeze Gatorshell 10'6" Native Spectrum is the kind of gear that transforms casual paddling into something unforgettable. It’s lightweight without feeling flimsy, rock-solid in the chop, and smooth as silk when you cruise. The Native Spectrum design? Bold, bright, and unapologetically fun. It turns heads on the water and earns compliments before it even hits the launch. And the little touches—MAGNEPOD™ and bungees up front—make it as practical as it is beautiful. Whether you're squeezing in a quick sunset session or going the distance down a lazy river, this SUP brings energy, attitude, and versatility in spades. If you're debating it, stop. This board’s a win.
Yes Old Women are Active!
Very happy with this SUP. It’s only 32 pounds and as a 70 y/o I find it very easy to handle both on the water paddling around, and carrying it to the water. It is a bit awkward putting on my car over my head alone, but I get it done. Most likely a new carrier with lift assist will be a future purchase.
Breeze is swift but boards are still too thick.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am an avid paddle boarder and this is my 5th board I’ve purchased and first BOTE board. I love the length as it makes turns easily and swiftly. The board feels super comfortable and I love all the d rings. The only issue with BOTE boards is the heavy weight of the boards. This board is their lightest at 31lbs but still feels heavy and thick when getting it up in my SUP rack. I never liked how thick all the boards are which makes these boards so heavy that 2 people are needed to get them up on vehicles.
Breeze 10”6 hard Paddleboard
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will admit I was pretty nervous about ordering a paddleboard online because of freight shipping and everything. The process was so much easier than I could’ve ever dreamed and my board arrived in perfect condition!
Perfect for beginner on up
My wife has been paddleboarding for a year, and she finally talked me into joining her. I researched what REI had to offer, and found the what looked like it had everything I needed. And it does: Nice and stable, maneuverable, cushy top cover for standing, kneeling, or sitting, a water bottle holder, tie-downs, netting, comfortable to carry. And looks cool. The included paddle is a nice benefit, and the paddle easily adjusts. I have had this on mountain lakes and rivers - no whitewater or surf yet - and have felt comfortable throughout. Even when I fell off, the board was stable enough that getting back on was quick and painless. The water bottle even stayed in the holder. The board is wide enough to give me a decent balanced stance, but I can still stroke the paddle almost straight down, instead of having to swing it out to the side. The Gatorshell feels solid and tough, but is lightweight and easy to carry. BOTE makes a number of add-ons specifically designed for use on their boards. I haven’t tried them yet, but it’s nice to know I can get something made for this board if I ever have a need. This board is forgiving enough for a beginner, but versatile enough I feel I can challenge it as I become more experienced (and braver!) in my paddling adventures.
Awesome Experience and Board!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! I havent purchased a new board in many years, and have never had a Bote board. An incredible experience from start to finish. Unbeatable deal. Solid board that floats and paddles through our lake with the greatest of ease. Love the all-inclusive package with leash and fin and even a PFD belt. AWESOME! You cannot beat the value for the money. Also, shipping was super easy. Great freight company who took care of the board. Box arrived in great shape. They have clearly worked hard on their process and the customer experience and it shows. Dont hesitate, pull the trigger and get a Bote board.
Love it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love my new board! Stable and tracks well. Easy to transport and I love the Native Spectrum design
Love this BOTE
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This paddle board is lightweight and durable. It was great on the water. The paddle was light and easy to use.
gatorshell technology is terrible
We bought a gatorshell Bote SUP, and after 2 years being on my dock (covered from mid-day sun), the gatorshell bubbled and peeled. Took it back to the Bote store and then they said, yeah, you can’t store them outside with sun contact, and that it’s out of warranty. But they gave us the name of a repair guy who then told is it’s not repairable. Buyer beware. These things fall apart in the sun. Terrible product.
