Rab  Kangri GORE-TEX Jacket - Women's

Dear Rab, I really liked your jacket.. until it arrived at my door and I saw that its colour - Green Slate - is MUCH less vibrant than the one on the picture. That is QUITE MISLEADING and puts me off you as a company. Why lie? You obviously use v harsh lighting to make your jacket look like super vibrant green, when in fact it is a bit bleh / meh darker green. I took a picture using my home studio lights and still it looks much.. more boring sadly. Hence, I might have to return it... I have to be honest - there are 100s of retailers... and i do not like being lied to... so here it is. I am happy to email you my picture of the jacket vs the one above and you tell me how are they the same :) Cheerio M

Love this jacket for hillwalking and dog walking in the wet Scottish countryside! It's kept me dry so far. Loved the extra touch of the shampoo/waterproof kit in with my order. I would say the sizing/fit is a little confusing, I've had to size up to fit my hips, but now find the sleeves a little long. Loved the colour options, though I've gone for plain black.

Love this jacket! Great deep pockets and hood, gorgeous colour, and withstood the rain well (I’m yet to try it out in very heavy or prolonged rain though). I had to go a size larger than usual to get the right fit on the hips and over layers, so the sleeves are a little too long for me. However, they’re fine once the Velcro on the cuffs is adjusted.

I tried and tested the kangri in peak Scottish winter conditions last week. With consistent snow fall and a wind chill of -15°C. The majority of the day was spent climbing, then walking back to the car and I definitely rate it 5/5. I was dry underneath this Gore-Tex layer. So I 100% recommend this product.

Love the colour and fit of the jacket. It’s a bit long in the sleeves for me as I’m shorter than most average women, but not a big issue and it rolls up small enough to fit nicely inside a rucksack without taking up too much space. I would thoroughly recommend.

I’m a size 14 to 16 and find the 14 is a good fit with extra sleeve length to keep gloves dry. Tested out on one rainy day so far and found it a little warmer and heavier than my previous jacket but great for autumn and winter walking.

Love the jacket - keeps the wind and rain out a treat. Marked down only because sleeves are so long but there again I am small and bought a 10 instead of an 8 as like to have it longer over my bum and also to allow for layers

Not yet tested in British rain but in dry mountain conditions c 13 degrees this garment needs more underneath. The sleeves are long. Good pockets. Annoying hood when not needed- unless I am missing how to fold it away!

An excellent jacket, kept the wind and rain out all day in the hills. The colour is nice and the vents under the arms really help when you're getting warm going uphill.

A bit stiff and crackly. Also not very warm. But certainly waterproof and suitable for most types of use - walks in the country or in town.
