Black Diamond  Rocklock Pants - Men's

So I am an avid climber but I’m also military SAR. So I might one day he hanging outside of a helicopter in a mountain range looking for an injured person. These pants are great. I can throw them on on my off days. Get a request for assistance and I show up in them. Throw on my harness and clip in to the helo and away we go. (Go bag and ems bag on my back.) but I can still use all the pockets on the pants in my harness and I can use my military one too with a bunch of pouches and still have access to the pocket. It can be pouring down rain and I remains relativity dry. But then the rotate wash made the water go through and I felt a little cold. But they draw super quick.

I really liked these pants all around! They fit very well, were really great to climb in, and looked great. However, after climbing with my phone in the thigh pocket once or twice, a hole developed in the corner and continued to grow. Now the thigh pocket is unusable with a hole this size. I've not had this happen with any other climbing pants, so I was shocked to see how low quality the material on these are. I worked with the warranty team to try get them fixed, but they require that I pay for shipping. I decided it's not worth it to fix low quality pants so am pursuing a refund.

These pants are made with a fabric that makes them lighter than the crag denim pants, but a ripstop pattern in the fabric suggests they might also be durable. Size M waist was plenty big for my size 32" waist. Not keen on the exposed drawstring. Although BD says the string can be rerouted to the inside, this might take some doing. What did not fit for me and the main reason I am returning them is the fit of the lower leg. Too tight for my calves, which are normal or slightly on the small side.

A five star brand climbing pants of almost 100% cotton that you can wear on a Delta air Airbus. Safe from fire, comfortable to sleep in. And warm in the DC winter. These are off-label travel pants. Wear long shorts underneath and you are really warm when you leave the airport for the Metro.

Fits accordingly to size chart. I took a risk as I'm measured at 33.5 waist and sometimes pants with 34 fit, and sometimes they don't. These do, and they did not shrink after washing. They are super comfy and seem to be quality material. I am hoping they come in black in the future. :)

Love the rip stop material design on it. Durable and comfy at the same time. Also love that you can put the waist string back in via the inside hole if you don’t want it. Heads up, no belt loops. Obviously you can tell, but I didn’t notice when I bought it.

I love the articulated knees, the wide crotch gusset and the rip stop material. These feel more durable than a pair of jeans and dont have much stretch to them at all, and yet the design is so smart I have been doing yoga in them with no problems at all.

I bought these online and I was expecting to like them but they are seriously awesome! Super comfy and flexible, and a little thicker which will be perfect for cold fall/winter days out climbing! They also look nice enough for everyday wear.

I’ve loved everything I’ve bought from Black Diamond, and these pants were no exception. They fit well/super comfortable, I love the elastic waist And the organic cotton material. I now on eight pairs of pants from Black Diamond.

Got these pants specifically to only climb in. As opposed for more lifestyle, which they could certainly be used for. But for climbing purposes they have been perfect. Great cut, fit, etc. Definitely want to get a second pair.
