Ripped on the first use (Twice!)

Gave this back a 2nd chance for my 55lb Lab/ Hound Mix. First trip we did 2 day backpacking trip and the pouch tore from carrying a water bottle… also didn’t fit her great so was not worth keeping. Return and repurchased thinking it was just a fluke. Spend a bit more time trying to adjust, but still doesn’t fit her frame right. On the first hike with the second pack, after going through some slots canyons where it rubbed, the sides shredded up like cheese in a cheese grater. Definitely not a durable pack. Love the idea but execution is definitely not there yet.

Rigid and Heavy Material

I am going to give this pack a chance in place of the heavier Palisades. It fits what my 37 pound puppy needs for a short two day, one night backpacking trip. Compared to her other backpacks she hasn’t seem to like it right off the bat because it seems a lot less comfortable. We will give it a try on a short trip and see how it performs.
