I love this Sup-Yak!

I got my sup-yak last May as a birthday present, and absolutely love it! Used it a few times last year, and I’ve already used it several times this season and can’t wait to adventure even more! I get asked tons of questions when I’m out and about, and many people wanting to know where they can get one! I always feel safe and supported when I’m out on the water, and I love how easy it is to inflate and deflate! I love how everything fits in the convenient backpack, and it’s really convenient to transport & store!

Just wow!…

I did a lot of research on the perfect board for me!… this exceeded my expectations. It is super comfortable, extremely stable, handles lake life like a charm (including the wake from power boats - never felt unstable for a moment) have used it twice so far, can’t wait to use it again. I have ordered an upgrade paddle for kayak use since I’m talk and the board is wide. I can not say enough great things about this board. Normally you lose function with a Highbred but it tracts straight, stable, comfortable.

Family Friendly Ride

This boat has made so much of Minnesota accessible to the family. My kids, partner and I (totaling 4 people and ~375 lbs) take this out each weekend as a kayak (double paddles and seats), and I have taken it out on numerous occasions as a paddle board. Pros: - full-length grip material for kids to walk up and down - easy to maneuver - seats clip in quickly and are easily adjustable Cons: - Heavy to transport - Difficult to fit everything in the bag. I wish that there were a second bag that attached to the first with "Yak accessories" including paddle sections, seats, and foot rests. I don't really want to cary these when I'm not planning to use them.

Best purchase of my life

I bought this exactly a year ago, and it’s been one the greatest purchases I’ve made. Board is so easy to inflate and deflate (note: I did buy an electric pump) and is easily rolled up and stored in the provided bag. It’s stable on all types of water - I’ve taken it to lakes, rivers, and oceans. Held its own at each. I mainly use it to paddle on my own, but it’s so fun to be able to bring a friend along!

Great value

REALLY pleased with this! It is so versatile - I have used it as both a single and a tandem kayak, as well as stand up paddleboard, and it has all been extremely easy and smooth. I'm very impressed with the way it travels as a kayak - I was expecting to have to paddle in a constant swerving S shape rather than travel in a straight line, but it actually handles a lot closer to a "real" kayak than you'd think, and moves quite fast for what it is! If you paddle tandem, you should situate the seats farther apart than you might think - my first time out, the front and back paddles were clashing a bit if you and your partner weren't perfectly in sync; the second time out I spaced them apart better and it was a much better experience. 10/10 would buy this again. Inflation with the provided pump is a workout, but doable, and takes maybe 5 minutes - and if you have a power inflater, even better!

Very happy with out SUP-YAKs

We bought two tandem SUP-YAKs so we could go out with our adult children. We like the flexibility to position the seats for solo or tandem or SUP. My husband and I went out tandem 12 times this summer. We purchased inflatables so we wouldn't have to lift hard shell yaks onto the roof of the car and so we could store them in the house (very small garage). We typically wipe down the yak while rolling it up. Back at home we unroll it so it can dry and then re-roll it for storage. It dries so quickly - much faster and more completely than inflatable yaks of the traditional kayak "boat" shape. We quickly found that pumping with the included manual pump took energy that we would rather spend on the water. We purchased an electric pump that can work either plugged in or run off its battery. The paddles are a little heavy so we may upgrade our paddles in the future. I found the seats to be great. My husband puts more pressure on his seatback and decided to buy an alternative seat that looks more like a folding frame beach chair. We are not experts, but we observe that our sup-yak tracks better than other inflatables we see on the water. We do not use the foot rests, but that is personal preference. By the way, many people we have met have tried tandem and found they didn't get along. Maybe rent a tandem before committing to the purchase.

I love it!

I love it!! I bought it during a sale for less than $800. I kayak and paddleboard with my adult daughter. It is very stable and easy enough to carry inflated. Would buy again.
