FINALLY SOME CARGO PANTS without the BULGING pockets
Wanted the functionality of cargo shorts, but without the HUGE BULGING pockets. These shorts have a diagonal zipper pocket in the same area where the traditional cargo pants pockets would be, but it's a lot more discreet and has a flatter profile. Not that there is anything wrong with regular cargo shorts. I just wanted one without huge pockets and this is the best. Also, it's a zipper, which is so much better than the normal 2 button ones that are annoying to constantly open and are more secure. Awesome. Also a bit stretchy/elastic, but not too much.
If you have big quads, these will still fit!
I have big quads and I cannot lie - that when I first got these, I was worried they would be too tight. Boy am I glad I was wrong about that. They are super stretchy and I was very happy after doing a couple of squats and finding that they did not constrict my movement at all! I wore them as much as I could during a very hot spell while on vacation in Vermont back in August. It got quite hot and humid a few days, up into the 90s with a similar humidity level and they still felt comfortable. The fabric is thicker than I expected, but there's some kind of magic in the fiber that allows it to breath well somehow? I don't know how DU/ER did it, but these stayed comfortable. I also really like the two zip pockets. One pocket carried a mask and the other a bandanna. These pair well with The Only Tee, which I also ordered. Now I cannot for the life of me find that t-shirt, nor do I recall ever wearing it, but I'm sure it would go great with these shorts!
Lives up to the reputation
The amount of stretch was a pleasant surprise. Big step in comfort from my poly cotton 50/50 shorts but still room for all my gear with the much more cool zipped cargo pockets. The fit is consistent with your regular jean size. These are winners.
My new everything shorts
These shorts are super comfortable and versatile, and I think they look cool too.I appreciate they are a little longer, they fall just above my 6'5 knees. I would take the smaller size if you're in between two like myself.
Awesome shorts
I love these shorts - they are non restrictive, quick drying, and the perfect length for the summer. I wear them riding a bike, hiking, or just as everyday warm weather shorts. The green color is great too!
Great fit, but a bit long
I like the shorts but wish they were cut about an inch of two shorter. The side pockets are nice and it makes carrying my wallet and phone a bit easier. Just wish Duer had a shorter version they offered.
Totally original pocket design
The diagonal zippered pocket is terrific for cell phones. The fit is a little looser (in a good way) in the thighs but still with a little bit of stretch, so they're good for hiking.
Live lite adventure short
Excellent shorts. The run slightly larger in the waist compared to the pant version. Pockets are not too crazy big, and helps streamline the look.
Great Design
It is very comfortable, with well designed pocket placement. I put some pulls on the leg pockets for easy access, otherwise, it is a great short.
3rd pair
Very comfortable love the style and fit. 5 10 and the length is perfect. Not like typical lululemon joggers these are much more substantial
