Bought this about three weeks ago, have hiked mostly hills 15-20 miles. Fit is great, comfort level high, self cleaning tread, great grip on wet surfaces, able to lace well for steep declines. The waterproof claim is accurate; one of my first hikes was through some puddles and in rain, feet kept completely dry. Very happy with this purchase, thanks REI for your great service, quick shipping.

I love these boots. They are light for being high tops and offer the ankle support I wanted. I recently slipped into a pond while filtering water and was pleasantly surprised that my feet were dry. I have probably gone about 100 miles in these boots and I definitely recommend them.
