Great for hiking
Extremely comfortable and very easy to slip on. I wore them most recently hiking to a waterfall in Kauai and they performed well on the muddy, hilly terrain. The only drawback that I have found thusfar is that they are a bit flimsy, structurally. I wore them golfing and did not have sufficient support during my swing.

I love this shoes
I have flat feet so slip on shoes don’t tend to work for me except for Merrill’s, but I usually where the stiffer Mocs with elastic. Something about how Merrill makes their shoes provide the additional width I need without going wide and the additional arch support so an orthodontic isn’t necessary. The Embark Moc was no different. These have been my go to casual shoes and I wore them on a coast to coast flight recently and they were super comfortable. If I could make a couple of suggestions, I do wish they had a little more arch support and it was possible to slip this on without using both hands. Not deal breakers for sure though.
To good to be
These were one of the most comfortable shoes/sneakers I have ever worn. I say were because Merrell discontinued the whole line. If I would have known I would have purchased 2 of each color, I think they had 3 or 4 colors. I am a long time Merrell Moc wearer, I figured I would give these a try. They are so light and cool in the summer. I was thrilled, I came to this website to buy the White color, that's when I started to realize either everyone loved them or worse no more for me. This was last summer 2024. I have the ones I purchased- green to enjoy. To all the size 11/12/13 go for it. Who knows maybe Merrell will bring them back.
Rock the Mocs!
Picked up a pair of these mocs for a trip to Flagstaff. I wanted something breathable that I could slip on and off quickly and easily, but that provided more protection than a sandal. These were perfect! I ended up wearing them every day of the 9-day trip. On the plane, out to dinner, cruising around town, working around the cabin and even chose them over several other options I had to do some hiking. Comfort, stability, traction, breathability and extremely versatile. As someone with over 80 pairs of shoes, I have no shortage of options when it comes to footwear, but these quickly skyrocketed to the top of my list of go-to’s. Glad I purchased 2 pairs.
Way too narrow in width
Ordered these Size 12 online and the moment I opened the box I knew right away these would be too narrow for my foot. In fact, I have a hard time believing any grown man that wears a size 12 shoe would be able to fit in these. I measured the insole at the arch of the foot at 2 inches wide. However, if you have king size candy bars for feet, then these will work for you.
Run too big.
There’s nothing really wrong with shoes other than they run really big and are not very comfortable for me. The cheaper Sketchers are much more comfortable. I do like my other model from Merrell
Flat Tires
After 25 years of great shoes, these overpriced slip ons have no cushion. These are what you find at WallyWorld‼️ I have you competitors slide ons that are like a Rolls Royce.
Maximum Comfort!
This is the Best sneaker everyone should buy... I have the black and green both... looking for more colors at the moment and thought of this review which were in my mind.
Most comfortable walking/casual shoe ever.
First, you must realize this is a casual/walking shoe. They are SUPER comfortable and look great, but it's basically a sock with a sole, so don't expect to do hard hiking or distance running in them. They are super light and feel great. I'm a 12.5 but went up to 13 to avoid a tight fit, so my feet don't sweat like another reviewer complained. I've worn them everyday for walking/casual pursuits and I couldn't be happier. They are my new favorite shoe. Understand what they are and what they are for and you can't go wrong with these shoes. Totally awesome.
