Well made and rugged. The stainless steel sleeve protects the hose from cuts and abuse. The connectors are also very rugged. This should last for years under hard use.

Fits perfectly but simply does not work

The hose will not allow gas flow to the stove. The hose charged from the tank, but the valve connection at the stove was either defective or improperly engineered. I bought a different brand hose from the local hardware store and it worked fine. If you research on line, you will find a hose that looks similar to this one, marketed under another well known brand name, that has mostly one star reviews because of the same problem I had with this one; perhaps several brands are made in the same facility.

Catches fire!

I was jazzed to not have to waste small propane bottles that can’t be reused or recycled. I was excited to use a splitter to run my stove and fire pit at the same time. I used it a couple of times and on the first day of a remote excursion, the tubing of this spontaneously caught on fire at the connection point to the stove. Big bummer and this could have been extremely dangerous! Thankfully I was able to turn off both the stove and propane tank before a big explosion. All connections were tight and I take excellent care of all of my gear so unclear why this happened especially seeing as I was using the burner on the opposite side of the connector. Don’t recommend.

Burly, does the trick

Tank connections can be finicky to activate the valve in a tank. I've been through 6 different hoses, this was the only one that worked with my valve

Doesn't seem to work

I was looking forward to getting away from the disposable one pound cartridges with my Titan 2 X I was looking forward to using this with my Camp Chef stove. However, despite multiple attempts at connection, with 2 different brand new propane tanks, I could not get this thing to work. The stove works just fine with the one pound disposable cartridges.

Multi use propane connector hose

I bought this for my small gas grill to tailgate with. Safe and secure it will also fit some other accessories I have allowing me to reuse my refillable 20 lbs tank and not have to bother disposing of the one pounders (or running out of gas mid-appliance use).

Doesn't work...Would not recommend

As others have stated in their reviews, this does not deliver gas at the stove input... You hear it charge from the tank (for me 20lb propane) but the connection at the stove, does not make correctly which results in no gas moving through. Look elsewhere for an adapter, this one left us in a pinch on a multi day trip. Luckily the Rangers Station had small bottles.

Great Product and Fairly Priced

The material is high quality and feels like it will last. I used this to grill with a conventional propane tank and it fit great, no signs of leak or anything. Although the hose is long and provides versatility, it does hold quite a bit of gas, so make sure after closing your propane tank you allow for enough time to flare the remainder of the gas.

Tougher than rubber one & hopefully mice proof?

Mice finally punctured holes in our black rubber 4’ propane hose for our big tank, so we hope this stainless steel will last longer. SO GLAD the REI clerk offered me this one to go along with our new Zempire—problem solved. Transitioned from well used Coleman to Zempire 2 burner DLX.
