First tine use -- worked perfectly
Ordered a ser if these for my Sherpa roof rack to haul my tandem kayak from southern Arizona to San Carlos Mexico (about 300 miles) and the pads worked perfectly. They're about 2 inches thick in top which gives enough space to keep your kayak off the roof and keep anything from getting damages. I won't keep them on the rack when they're not being used, that way they'll probably last a lot longer, as the sun here tends to beat things up pretty badly. Overall, 10/10 woukd definitely recommend.
Ideal for one surfski
Length is right for my BMW X3 aero bars. The hook & loop overlap is about 60% so I secure with two 14 inch cable ties. The pads are protecting my surfski and look good.
