For $75 to get a USCG PFD and some comfort features for paddling you usually find on vests double the price, yes please! We canoe when we camp or just want a day out on the lake or river with the dogs - we don’t need fancy vents or pockets for fishing gear that jack up the price of the vest - nor do we want the 1970s orange/red rental vests that bring back the smell of the person who wore it before you. So for $75 this is a budget vest that fits like a more expensive PFD.
Bought a pair of these after receiving an inflatable kayak for Christmas. We kayak 3-5 times a year, have had these for 2 years and no complaints. Compared to rental PFDs which are usually uncomfortable and awkward, these fit well and I don't hesitate to wear them at all. Easy to swim in and adjust. I don't see myself upgrading past this $75 vest unless I spend 3x more time on the water.
Great PFD, fits very well as described, easy to paddle in, and easy to swim in. For a more value priced vest I recommend it.
Got this for paddleboarding, particularly in chilly water. This is the perfect basic PFD that’s easy to paddle in, clean, and store.
