I got this in a size L, which was tight around the chest and shoulders, leaving very little room for layers underneath. I ordered this in size XL, and the shoulders were fine, but the sleeves were way too long. Lower torso seemed about the same between the two sizes. I'm 6', and a fit 200 lbs, with freakishly average proportions. A jacket that doesn't fit me is truly odd. Try it on with your layers.
Lightweight, excellent material, sewn with high quality, super zippers, I chose a larger size, I will use it as a fishing one, for a stray suit, I recommend the product.
Purchased 2 months ago and wear it all the time to hike in the snow and rain this spring in Alaska. Jacket has kept me dry. Access to the higher pockets work well with my backpack shoulder straps.
totally waterproof in the rain. some of the cheaper rain jackets will let water soak through after 2-3 hours of hiking in the rain but this one kept me dry for the 10 hour hike.
Looks great. Pockets are really weird, but not a deal breaker. I concur with the other review that said it runs small. Barely room for a sweater if you get your regular size. I'm 6' and 200 lbs, average build. I always wear a large. Will try an XL, but I don't expect it to fit either, since the sleeves and lower torso seem to have plenty of room. The problem is the chest and shoulders are tight. I'm no body builder either.
The material feels nice. The sizing runs small. There is no room for layers underneath if you buy your regular size, because it is a European cut (slim). I bought it as a ski shell but there is no pass pocket and no inside pockets at all. For a $450.00 shell, I expected more features. I am returning it.
