Fantastic Boots
I had a pair of Bogs rain boots that I wore for walking the dog for several years. They were great. Surprisingly warm, waterproof, lightweight, easy to get on and off. But the traction was terrible. Not surprising, as they are rain boots. So I decided to see if Bogs had a winter boot and they do! These are everything the rain boot is, but warmer and with great traction. I can even drive in them, which is hard to do in a lot of heavy-duty boots. I was happy to buy the men's version because I don't really care, I just want good boots because I walk the dog 3 miles a day or more. But I imagine a women's version with some fun colors would be a great addition.
There is no way to be warm at -70
Daily winter use in Alaska. I use Boot Gloves over them when it gets below 10f (sold for ski boots)...my feet only get cold when I am snowmobiling below zero. They have good traction in snow. They don't keep my feet warm below -10f for more than a few hundred yards. -70 is preposterous...and I doubt anyone at Bogs has ever experienced it. I have in fact. I don't care for the handholds in my calf length boot, as they make them more like an ankle boot in deep snow...snow goes in the holes unless the holes are covered, and I can slip in and out of the boots without bending over to pull on them...which I like.
Why settle for less, get the best, Bogs Bozeman Mid Boots.
My Bogs Bozeman Mid boots look cool, yet they keep my feet very warm during the winter. My Bogs Bozeman Mid boots are very confrontable and they feel very nice to walk in. I always wanted a pair of Bogs Bozeman Mid boots because they look cool and have a neat look, the Bogs Bozeman Mid boots keep the toes very warm in the cold. If you want a pair of boots that look cool and are not like the rest, yet keep your feet very warm, get a pair and try them out, you will not be disappointed. Lets face it, why settle for less when you can have the best, Bogs Bozeman Mid boots a whole new experience in winter comfort and warmth if you have never had a pair of Bogs Bozeman Mid boots before.
Waterproof, warm, comfortable and fit like great
I purchased these based on a recommendation from Floret Farms and wasn't sure what to expect. However, I have to say they were much better than I expected. They are very comfortable, warm and easy on and off. I really like the side handles to pull the boots on and the tab on the heel to help pull them off. They are waterproof, warm, comfortable and fit like the are already broken in. I would highly recommend them. I take a size 10 1/2 and was unsure about the 10-11 sizing. But I ordered the size 10 and there was plenty of room. I recommend a good pair of wool socks to with them.
Great Rain Boots!
I’ve owned Hunter Boots and it does not compare to these boots, these boots keep ur feet warm and dry and it is sturdy on the ground . Easy to put on has great room for your feet ( I have a wide foot) Love these!!
I would without hesitation recommend this product.
Dry and warm is never a bad thing. I am an ice fishing hobbyist , as time goes by the cold plays a big roll in how much I will do when it's cold. I looked for sometime before I decided on this boot. I had purchased a pair for our daughter this past Christmas. After speaking with hear I decided to give them a try. Truly amazing is what they are, no overheating, moisture, or cold. Actually amazingly comfortable . Looking hard to keep this as real as possible, the only negative thing I could say is , I wish there were more designs to choose from. That's it.
Great boots!
I've been using these about a month now, including extensive walks through the woods on a daily basis. Pluses are that these are really warm, easy to get on and off, great tread and mostly comfortable. Compared to other boots I've had, these are definitely wider and my feet kind of swim around, so if you have a narrower foot as I do, you might want to consider that. The uppers are a bit stiff and pressure my shins - longer socks have helped there. Overall the quality of these boots is fantastic and I suspect they will last many years
Warm and Dry Feet!
I am very happy with these boots. We've been experiencing lots of rain in CA lately, and was in need of some good quality waterproof boots. I have hiking boots that claim to be "waterproof" but after about 30 minutes of downpour, my feet were wet and cold, so I was in need of some real waterproof boots. I take the dogs out on 5-7 mile hikes every morning and was worried that these wouldn't be comfortable or ideal for hiking, but I am happily surprised with the comfort of these boots. The dogs and I do about 1000-1400 ft of climbing on our hikes every morning, and these boots are comfy. Best of all, my feet are dry and toasty! It makes hiking in the rain really fun. No more tip toeing around puddles, I just splash right through them now! I now look for puddles and shallow streams to cross on our hikes!
Excellent so far
May have to write a follow up review on durability as I've only had the Bozeman mid for about 2 weeks. In that time in Minneapolis area we've had 1 significant snow fall & two 1-2 inch snows. As I'm writing this, the big football game (don't want any copyright infringement from NFL, but it rhymes with Snooper Soul) is just 4 days away. We're having sub 0 temps with 15 to 30 below wind chills. These boots are the best I've ever worn. Warm, comfortable and waterproof. Love em!
Prepare for the worst by owning the best.
After a long time of wearing winter boots in Minnesota, either for ice fishing, boot hockey, snowshoveling or watching hockey in cold arenas, I can attest to the fact that Bogs are the best boots I've ever worn. The mid Bozeman are perfect. The handles on the sides make putting them on a breeze and because they're mid-calf design, my pant leg goes over the tops easily and keeps snow out. My feet are always warm (-51 wind chill recently in the North) and while I've thought about electric socks, with these boots they won't be necessary. And as far as field testing for being waterproof, well how about standing puddles in my driveway while snowblowing the slush in January? No problem, not a drop. This is my third pair of Bogs and I hope they're not my last. Perfect for Minnesotans and anyone else that has to be prepared for the worst by owning the best.
