just like Hokas
I absolutely love these shoes. they have the perfect amount of rock to them. I would say these are comparable to Hokas with their feel and fit. They are super supportive and lightweight. I never thought I would find a shoe I’d like as much—maybe even more—than Hokas, but these are it. I usually wear a 7-7.5 in regular shoes. I always do a 7.5 in Hokas and in On (I wear a 7.5 in the Cloud x, cloudswift, and cloud runner). However, I am an 8 in the Cloudmonsters.

Wanted to love them... sadly I don’t.
I just got these and I was so excited. I’m usually a 6.5 or 7. I definitely needed the 7. I noticed on my first walk they were still a little narrow in the toe box, the tongue is a stiffer plastic (needs adjusting to be comfortable) and the inside ankle opening comes up a bit high and stiff. I think all these things made my gait a bit off and by the end of the walk my hips and back hurt. So not sure if they overall didn’t work for me or some components but they need to go back. And $170 is definitely high.

Amazing!

I love the Cloudmonster shoes! I've bought about 10 different ON running shoes and those are by far my favorite. The style and comfort is amazing! I'm a consistent 8.5 in all ON shoes and the 8.5 feels great. The first few times I wore those, the outside of my feet got numb but after 2 weeks they felt good. I just purchased them again.

Wanted to love them

I have been wearing Hoka’s for the past 12+ years so was excited to try these. They were a bit stiffer when trying them on but the cushioning felt great. On our return from a 5 miler the ball of my right foot was killing me. Never had that happen before and the burning feeling went away after taking them off at home. Second try a week later and 2 miles in the back of the shoe started rubbing my Achilles. Never had that happen before. I’ll give them one more try before the 3 strikes you’re out rule. I’m optimistic although my husband thinks it’s ridiculous as the tread on the On Clouds are already worn away in areas after just 2 outings.

Crazy Comfy but runs a smidge small

Holy smokes this is such a comfy shoe! It really reminds me of my first pair of Hokas but they don’t look as large and clown-like. I ordered them online and wasn’t sure what to expect but these are going to make getting back into running much easier. My only disappointment is that they seem to runs just slightly smaller than other ON shoes. I tried serval pair on in the store in my normal size 8. Each version fit true to size. They did not have this style in store and they definitely run a smidge smaller. I haven’t run in them yet so I’m not sure if I’ll need to exchange for a half size up or not but my big toe was right at the top of the shoe.

Size up

Just received my very first pair and I think they will be fantastic once I get the right fit. I am a true size 7 and almost never have to size up in any kind of shoe especially quality shoes. I tried the cloud master and the cloud flow. Neither of them fit me in size 7. I had to size up with both. They are very well made and I love that the laces flow right through the loops. You can loosen and pull tight very easily. The spring when I walked the little bit when trying them was fantastic. I purchased my husband the cloud master as well. He walks at least 4 miles per day and said they are the most comfortable shoe he's ever had.

Buy them! Hardest decision is choosing which color

Before purchasing , I made sure to do my research. One day at my gym, I saw a couple wearing cloud monsters. I asked how they liked them and they went on saying that they love them and own several pairs. Not just for running but also for work too. After that day, I bought them and do not regret my decision. I used to loathe running on the treadmill but now I love it, thanks to these. I’m pretty heavy set and I worried about running again because of the impact it will have on my knees and ankles. But with the right shoe, I don’t have to worry anymore

Wearing

I purchased these March 23. It is now September 27 and there is already signs of small hole in mesh. I am mot a runner but work at Home Depot. I don’t think these should be wearing like this already

super comfy but wear not super

Bought in May ‘23 now November ‘23. I use them everyday to walk in the evenings about a mile and a quarter. Great comfort like walking on clouds. But the wear is awful. A couple months in there was already a hole on the top mesh and the tread was going and boy.. it went fast! For as much as I paid I don’t feel I should need a new pair after 6 months. Wouldn’t recommend spending the money on these.
