Ultralight running jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lightweight and stylish jacket is a perfect addition to my husband’s running rotation. Previously he would choose not to wear a jacket, but because of this jacket’s ability to keep him dry without him feeling any weight, he loves it. The one thing we wish would be different is the zipper feels a bit “sticky.” It was easy to pack into itself, but barely takes up any room as is, so we do not use this feature often. We love the neutral color, rain resistant feature, and how extremely lightweight it is. We are happy with this running gear addition and it fits true to size. We received this product free in exchange for our honest review.
Super Lightweight jacket!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The All Altitude Jacket is super lightweight and compact. It is a very thin fabric but surprisingly warm. The jacket style was a great gender neutral and casual style. I live in a very windy place and it is a great wind breaker. It’s super nice that is is so compact and can fit into the hood. I love that I can have it folded up in my diaper bag and it takes up less space than a diaper! My favorite feature is that the hood can be folded and stored while you’re wearing it. I wish there were thumb holes in the jacket though. I prefer jackets with thumb holes when running.
Great rain jacket for warm weather
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, this is a great rain jacket. It packs in very tightly and is easy to pull out and put on yourself. The fact that it weighs very little means that you can be prepared for the rain without weighing yourself down. That being said, it is important to remember that this jacket is rather thin so the point of it is to reduce wind and rain rather than to keep you warm. In terms of reducing wind and rain, it performs fairly well and I often use it when the forecast calls for that.
Solid, simple jacket
Great for what it is. Packs up tiny, super light. I would call this the "I might need a jacket" jacket. Gives a little bit of warmth, keeps the wind off, keeps some light rain off. I wouldn't rely on it in a downpour, but that's not really the point. I actually did get caught in some serious rain with this jacket and it did a good job. Nice that you can open it up while running if you get a little warm. Sized exactly how I expected. I'm 6' and 190lbs and the L was great. If you're expecting some miracle jacket, no such thing exists. But this does exactly what you'd expect and performs within expected parameters.
All Altitude Jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a casual runner who enjoys running short distances a few times a week in all types of weather. The All Altitude Jacket did not offer protection from all types of weather. It also did not help with adjustments between weather types. The material of this jacket let water soak through it. The material was also sticky in humid weather, and made it difficult to have full function of arms while running. The All Altitude Jacket does store well, and is very compact. However, that does not make up for its lack of functionality. It would still take up to much room in my closet or suitcase because I would choose another product. The look of the jacket is attractive. I wish that the All Altitude Jacket would have been able to accomplish what it says it can do. With some adjustments to the material it could be a functional jacket.
Super dry and packable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the fit of this jacket, I’m 6’1”, 150lbs and I got a medium. It is a bit loose on me, but I find that it helps keep me from getting too overheated and allows easy movement. The style is definitely a functional look, but that I what I was looking for and don’t plan on wearing it causally. It definitely keeps you dry, where I live, I like that you can unzip the jacket to stay cool, but snaps keep it from flying open. The packability can’t be beat, it can compress down to a super small size in the storage pocket. There doesn’t seem to be a way to fold it in an orderly way it get it in there, you sort of just have to cram it in, but I love how small it can get. The zippers are a little stiff, you probably need two hands to use them, but will probably loosen over time. Overall, it is a great rain jacket that covers well, the best features are definitely how small it can pack and that it isn’t too hot to wear in a warm climate.
Great Jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great lightweight jacket. I can barely tell I have an additional layer on. It keeps me warm and dry in the rainy fall weather. I love that if the weather changes it is so easy to roll up and stash it in my pocket. I would add some additional reflectors for better visibility but otherwise it is perfect.
Great running / outdoor sport jacket.
This is a great lightweight jacket. I bought it for running and rowing—light weight important in rowing because when you’re not wearing you’re still carrying it. Plenty of movement room for running, and just enough for rowing. From a rowing perspective, a tapered/elastic waist would be better, so the jacket doesn’t catch your oar, or the wheels of your seat, although I can see how a loose waist would be better for ventilation while running. The tabs that let you run with the zip open also a great idea for ventilation. The pocket is in just the right place.
Does What It’s S’pose to!
I’m a fan of the All Altitude Jacket. I purchased for a half marathon race on a rainy, windy 50 degrees day, and it didn’t disappoint. The rain and wind protection are great, and the fabric is breathable. I’ve also used it on colder days (low 40s, high 30s) and with layering, it does the job. I probably should have opted for a medium (I’m 5’9’’ @ 170), but I selected a large because I find that Brooks medium shirts, etc don’t fit my shoulders well. The large fits fine, but it’s a bit long. Overall, I recommend this jacket.
Works Well
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This rain jacket is great for rain and also wind. It is super lightweight, so I was hoping it wouldn't be too warm, but since I run outside in Georgia, in the summer, it was still very hot and humid. I think the cut of the jacket looks good and works well (the hood tightens around the face to keep out water), but it is a little odd that the material is see-through/transparent. I did appreciate that the jacket wasn't too loud like the crunchy plastic sound that some rain coats have. The jacket folds up easily into its own tiny pocket (it actually gets amazingly small) and is convenient to travel with (it does get a little wrinkly when you unpack it, but the wrinkles shake out). Overall, I really like this jacket and am excited to test it out in colder weather.
