Sizing Notes
Measurements are stated in inches unless otherwise indicated. Size chart values represent body measurements, not garment measurements.
SHORT: Some pants are available in short sizes, which generally means an inseam that is 2.5 inches shorter than regular sizes.
TALL: Some pants, shirts, jackets and parkas are available in tall sizes, which generally means an inseam that is 3 inches longer and a rise that is 1 inch longer, a shirt or jacket body that is 2 inches longer, a parka body that is 2.5 inches longer and sleeves that are 2.5 inches longer than regular sizes.
Capri or cropped pants have an intentionally shorter inseam—reference the technical specs instead of this chart.
Inseam is measured to the floor.

You will need more than just one!
This sweatshirt is perfect for a day hike in the winter sun or as a mid-layer on a longer back country hike weekend. The material has just enough elasticity to be comfortable as a stand along long sleeve or a top layer, with a midweight base layer. My favorite feature was the single small pocket in the right front flank section. It is just big enough for a standard size phone but has often been home to a protein bar and key fob. Too many times with a large pocket, I carry too much, life should be about less sometimes.
Super versatile sweatshirt!
I was invited to test this product through REI advisors and thought, sure why not. I was totally skeptical as I have moved away from synthetic fibers the last few years. So pleasantly surprised with this sweatshirt. Wore it layered in the house - very comfy and warmer than I would have guessed. Wore it as a layer 20 degree hike in winter Indiana. Let’s see what else it can do … wore it as a ski layer on the slopes too. Light, versatile, soft, surprisingly warm, and looks good as a casual sweatshirt by itself. It also has laundered very well so far. Blown away by this one and will be a go to for 3 seasons for sure.
Good Looking Performance Sweatshirt
I've been wearing this sweatshirt numerous times over the last few weeks now. It wicks sweat well, and therefore it's a great warmer shirt for cold-weather workouts. I prefer to wear it without an undershirt as it's very soft. It's best used as a shoulder season shirt or a chilly summer evening as it's not super warm. I have the navy blue sweatshirt, and it looks great. The sweatshirt is sleek but a little boxy on my figure, but I have received numerous compliments. I don't like the pocket in the front of the sweatshirt as I don't like having weighted items in my sweatshirts, but it's barely noticeable without placing items in it. This sweatshirt will be a go-to during the spring season once it gets warmer out.
Excellent All Purpose Sweater
Perfect and comfortable fit for the size. Very simple design and color. Use it for cycling and hiking primarily, and it is great at regulating my body temperature (keeping me cool when I'm warm, and warm when I'm cool.) Little side pocket is almost useless; I'm glad it's barely noticeable on the side of the sweater, and not in the chest area.
Great midlayer for skiing
I've worn this sweatshirt as a midlayer when skiing and cross country skiing in Park City and in skiing in Tahoe. I usually wear it over a tech t-shirt under a down and shell or just under my shell when I get warm. Temperature range has been from 10F-45F and I haven't had problems with sweat or wetness (unlike my old midlayer sweatshirt). I've also been able to wear it a couple days in a row for skiing without noticing any issues with smell (I do let it hang to fully dry between uses). There is a small pocket at the hem that I didn't use (but it didn't get in the way). My biggest complaint, as with all shirts, is that if they fit correctly in the chest/shoulders/body, then the sleeves are a bit too short for my very long arms (I'm 6'1", but have a 6'6" wingspan).
Wicks Very Well
I wore this sweatshirt four times in a variety of layering configurations in weather that ranged from 13 to 20 degrees Fahrenheit, with winds at 15-20 mph. I worked up a good sweat walking over broken, snow covered ground. Whether worn next to the skin or as a mid-layer it wicked moisture into the layers over it very efficiently. It’s comfortable next to the skin, but I liked it best as a mid-layer. There was dampness in both the base layer and the Beyonder at the end of the walks; but there were no wet spots in either. There was plenty of moisture in both the thin down vest and outer jacket, indicating moisture was being wicked out at a good rate. On the last trial I remained outdoors for an hour after the walk to simulate resting after a hike. The sweatshirt was worn next to the skin, no base layer. Half an hour later, as my heart rate began to come down, I began to feel damp coolness in my shoulders as the cold began to penetrate. Going from hike to campfire I’d want to throw on a fleece. However, I never got cold. Coming in after the hour, the shirt was dry in a very short time. I loved the small zippered pocket in the side seam. It’s clearly designed for your phone. However, it will work really well as a place to dry your tinder bundle on a scavenge as you go damp day; especially with the wicking capabilities of this shirt. I would have appreciated a draw string on the hem, or an elastic hem. Using it with a jacket without a draw string allowed cold air access directly to my skin. I tried two different jackets with this, one with a drawstring one without, and it worked best using it with a jacket that has a drawstring. As far a sizing goes mine was a true XXL. If this was offered in an XXLT size it would definitely make it into my pack on an extended trip. Having a quick dry option to go with the merino midlayers I presently carry would be perfect. Finally, I received this sweatshirt from REI in exchange for an honest review. I have done that to the best of my ability.
Great weight
This sweatshirt is the perfect weight for wearing when it’s slightly chilly or to wear as a base layer under a heavier top layer. The added side pocket is useful if wearing while exercising. Had some wind breaking properties too it as well. This helped it be a perfect sweatshirt for an early spring hike.
A go-to top for morning warmth
This is a great midweight sweatshirt. The fabric is smooth and it fits well. I'm 5'10, 155 lbs and a medium fits well. I wear a medium in most tops.
Comfy
I bought this for lounging around the house in the cooler months. It is really comfortable and a good fit. I got 2XL and I’m 6’1 200lbs……
Super comfy
Light, soft, and well fitting. I liked it so much I ended up ordering one of each color.
