This product is not available.
The men's REI Co-op Beyonder T-shirt presents a humble "I'm just a t-shirt" face, but deep down, it's a trail hiking, cross-town biking ace. It just doesn't like to show off.

Sizing Notes
Measurements are stated in inches unless otherwise indicated. Size chart values represent body measurements, not garment measurements.
SHORT: Some pants are available in short sizes, which generally means an inseam that is 2.5 inches shorter than regular sizes.
TALL: Some pants, shirts, jackets and parkas are available in tall sizes, which generally means an inseam that is 3 inches longer and a rise that is 1 inch longer, a shirt or jacket body that is 2 inches longer, a parka body that is 2.5 inches longer and sleeves that are 2.5 inches longer than regular sizes.
Capri or cropped pants have an intentionally shorter inseam—reference the technical specs instead of this chart.
Inseam is measured to the floor.

don't discontinue this shirt
I recently bought some waterfront property and a boat so im constantly doing yard work or boating and this is by far the best shirt I've found for the purpose. it looks good, feels good, and I'm loving the upf protection and the pocket (which is perfect for nails or whatever I need for the project I'm doing). I now have this in 4 colors and will buy them regularly going forward (although they've all been on sale and it seems like they have limited sizes so I think it's going away) fwiw I have similar shirts from Patagonia, Kuiu, under armor, Lululemon, and Adidas and this takes the cake.
Great Trail Shirt
This is a very solid shirt. It help up well along the trails and kept me at a comfortable temperature. I was out hiking in colder temperatures and the shirt kept me relatively warm. The breathability of the shirt helped me from getting too warm. While I haven't been able to test it in warmer weather, I'm sure it'll be exceptionally comfortable during the spring and summer months. I would absolutely recommend this shirt.
Beyonder T-Shirt
I’m a 27 year old female that was looking for a crew neck t-shirt to wear hiking/camping. Women’s styles always come in scoop/v-necks, so it’s annoying for those of us who want a plain crew neck.. But this shirt is INCREDIBLY soft. Like the shirts you “borrow” from your boyfriend soft. I went with the celery color and it’a a nice, soft green. The length is perfect for bike shorts/leggings ( ladies, you know what I mean). Not too baggy, not too snug. I wear a Large in “normal” cotton t-shirts because I like them comfortable, but bought this in a medium. This one is slightly more fitted, but still very relaxed. I can’t speak to the moisture wicking/odor control aspects of this shirt as I have not worn it on a hike yet. I hope these qualities continue to meet the expectations I’ve set for this shirt. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase. I’m already looking to buy other colors!
Like the older version of the Sahara tee
I’ve been searching for a replacement option for my 5+ year old Sahara t shirts. I find the newer versions REI has put out to be a very different feel (thin, scratchy) and overall cut (too short). These are very similar in feel and cut to the old Saharas. I like that they are a bit more casual looking too so I can easily wear them outside of hiking/camping.
Odd sizing, not a good base layer
The men's medium fit more like a "medium tall" or even a large. I'm 5'10", 165 pounds, broad shoulders, and this tee was very long to the point it peeked out from under my midlayer and softshell. The drape of this shirt almost seems to bellow at the bottom. I'd describe it as a "dad bod" shirt, probably best for a large belly. As for its wicking qualities, it's a bit heavy compared to a lightweight polyblend shirt, and would wet out even during moderate use in the gym (1 hour treadmill, zone 2 effort). I wore it on a 6 hour flight, and it didn't hold its shape very well. I wouldn't even consider wearing it out to a casual lunch after a hike or workout; the styling is droopy and very boxy (think Eddie Bauer), not a slim cut like Patagonia or Arcteryx, and would not look good untucked.
Great technical tee shirt
Similar to other poly tee shirts, but manages not to get too stinky. Have worn as base layer while skiing and on its own mountain biking. Comfortable and dries very quickly. The pocket is a little random, but doesn't hurt anything and maybe makes it look a little better if wearing after the ski or bike session. I have the medium and it fits great, but is more like a large compared to other shirts like this I own. I'm 5'10", 165
Great shirt! Really wicks away sweat.
The REI Beyonder tshirt is amazing! The fabric is soft and has quite a bit of stretch to it. I wore it to work as a base layer and it performed beautifully. After a hard sweaty day at work this shirt stayed dry all day long. I also wore it out for a run and it performed the same way, it wicked the sweat away so well that I barely noticed how much I was sweating. The shirt I got is an XXL. I'm 6'3", 230 pounds and most of the time an XL is a little small or short. This time around I would have been happier with an XL as it seems like these shirts might run a little big. Washing and drying did not affect the fabric or the fit and it kept its size and shape after 2 washings so far. I really like this shirt and I look forward to putting it to the test on the trails. I can't wait to see how it does. Overall, this is a very comfortable t-shirt. I'm impressed with the way it performs and I will be getting a few more, just in XL next time.
Odd design for my taste
I bought this shirt as an addition to my Sahara line of shirts. I understand they are different types of shirt, but the material of tags on the side is really annoying. I made a rookie mistake. One of the tags tore off with ease. So naturally I did the same thing with the other tag and I left a nice hole in my shirt. Make sure you use scissors to cut the tags. Fit runs similar to Sahara shirts. Fabric has a slightly different feel so fit feels a bit smaller.
Great for workouts
I’ve worn and washed this shirt several times. Still looks new. Extremely comfortable and great for work workouts or activities. I would definitely purchase another and recommend it highly. I normally wear a large. These seem to run on the big side. Which is an additional plus.
Great shirt!
This is a great shirt that feels good and looks a little nicer than other t-shirts thanks to the asymmetric pocket. Why was it discontinued already? I was just going to order a few more in different colors I like it so much.
