I love icebreaker, and I wish I had good things to say about these boxers, but the truth is they’re pretty uncomfortable. I find that the legs consistently ride up until they’re bunched around your crotch, and your junk is smashed into an uncomfortable position due to the cut of the boxers. Requires that you readjust your boxers about once an hour. I was pretty stoked that these were available on ExpertVoice and bought six pairs, but honestly, I have other boxes that are a lot more comfortable than these for active use. Love the long Icebreaker tights but these don’t fit the same. Even in the long version of this boxer, they’re considerably shorter than the other underwear I normally use.
Totally disappointed to notice that there is a little hole at the bottom of the brand new boxers. Will not accept any excuse that it is due to misuse of the user.
I thought people were joking when they said this was the most comfortable and best pair of underwear ever but I can say they were definitely not pulling my leg. These are definitely the best pair of undies I’ve ever worn. They are temperature regulating, don’t smell and are super comfortable. Would highly recommend to any dude looking for quality underwear. The one iffy thing about these is the seam placement but you don’t feel it after one wear. Definitely the best pair of wool underpants on the market.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fully switched over a few years ago, and never looking back. I started with the regular Anatomica boxer briefs, but decided to switch to the long style, because I heard that the ride up the legs less, and sure enough, that is true. If you're annoyed by boxer briefs riding up, the long style is what you're looking for. The other thing that sets these underpants apart from the average ones you'd find in a store is how well they resist odors. The Merino material is almost magical, and you always feel fresh in a pair of Icebreakers. Well worth the cost in my opinion. A word of advice: dry these on the rack rather than in the dryer; they fully dry within 20-30 minutes and they will last forever if you treat them well. No need for a fly either; real ones always go over the fence instead of through the gate (iykyk). Buy these underpants.
The long boxers are so comfortable. They provide the right support and stay put during the most rigorous activities. I use them while mountain biking and their performance is flawless. Merino wool is an amazing renewable fiber and the moisture wicking and temperature regulating is so advantageous when you are sweating and bouncing around.
Bought a couple pairs for backpacking trips for moisture wicking and hoping they would be odor resistant. I think the long version are more comfortable than the regular version, but that is probably personal preference. Overall very happy with these and will likely get several more pairs.
Used a couple of times hiking in winter. They were soft and comfortable. Didn't bunch up. Hoping it is durable. (I had a different model of icebreaker boxers that didn't last very long before pilling and wearing out. Hope this is better.)
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought these for travel, my boys have never been happier! Longer is better with no crowding! Super easy to care for, take up no space in my pack, and look and feel great. Did I mention great ice breaker with the little woman lol.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While the wool body of the shorts are nice? The waist band needs improvement. They fold over too easily. I've been wearing Rapha Wool underwear for years and their waistband is excellent. Does Not fold over.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The length on these "long" merino 150 Anatomica boxers is ideal IMO because it compensates nicely any hiking up that inevitably happens. Plus, they are comfortable and well made. *Please add more colors!*
