Sizing Notes
Measurements are stated in inches unless otherwise indicated. Size chart values represent body measurements, not garment measurements. Some women's pants are available in petite and tall sizes. Typically petite sizes fit women 4'11" to 5'3". Regular sizes fit women 5'4" to 5'8". Tall sizes fit women 5'9" to 5'11".
PETITE: Generally, as compared to regular sizes, petite sizes are 2.5 inches shorter in inseam, 1 inch shorter in body length, 1.25 inches shorter in sleeve length and ¾ inch shorter in total rise.
TALL: tall sizes are 3 inches longer in inseam, 2 inches longer in body length, 2.5 inches longer in sleeve length and 1.25 inches longer in total rise.
Capri or cropped pants have an intentionally shorter inseam—reference the technical specs instead of this chart.
Inseam is measured to the floor.

Cute and comfortable
This skort has a flattering, clean A-line cut. I like that the inner brief is the same color as the outer skirt. (The only thing I don't like about it visually is the reflective REI logo on the back near the hem. Even though the logo is small and I love REI, the skort would be more versatile for non-sporty wear without the logo.) The skort is very comfortable. I've worn it inside on a ski machine and outside on walks and trail runs. The fabric is smooth. I've not felt any discomfort from seams. Especially notable are its pockets. There is a single pocket at the waist, big enough only for a few cards and/or keys. But the outside of each leg of the brief has pocket too. These pockets are big enough for a smart phone, wallet, or food bar. I really like where these pockets are because, even when full, they don't feel bulky or heavy. They hold items security, without distracting me from my activities.
Comfortable & cute
REI sent me this to try, and I was so disappointed because it showed up just as we had a long streak of really cold weather and I couldn't wear it for weeks! Soft fabric, a little on the thicker side, stretchy and comfy, and a good length to not be too revealing. True to size; I wear a size 6, ordered a medium and it’s a perfect fit. As we all know, women’s clothes are not usually great in the pockets department, but this has a fairly large waistband pocket, big enough for keys & chapstick, maybe even a phone if you’re not being too active. Looking forward to warm weather so I can actually go outside with this.
Love this skort, I want more colors
If they came in more than two colors I would buy them all… I would really love to see a grey and a tan/ khaki color. This skort is perfect for walking, waiting tables, running around, and hiking. The material is comfortable and light weight, it’s so flattering and doesn’t ride up.
Don't underestimate the power of a skort
This is a nicely designed high-waisted skort with deep pockets and plenty of length while still providing the airflow that a bonus skirt over shorts provides. The under shorts have a nice 5 inch inseam while the outer skirt lays about an inch longer resulting in the fit being about 3/4 down my thigh. This means I don't worry about coverage and the thing shifting mid run and having to stop and adjust. Two side pockets on the shorts are both deep enough to fit my phone and there is an additional small pocket in the back, because more pockets are always better. I have used the skort running and hiking, but will probably not try it backpacking because it feels a little on the heavy side. I hope they come out with some cute patterns ones soon.
Comfortable fit even without a thigh gap
As someone carrying extra weight I've wanted to get on the skort bandwagon, but have had to bail after a couple hours in a lower quality skort due to chafing from the under-shorts material. NOT SO with this skort. It's comfortable all day, including hiking or biking. A small inside pocket can hold a credit card or key (not big enough for a phone). Larger pockets would be nice but their absence creates a smooth profile with zero bulk or fabric rolls around the waist. This skort makes me feel confident and comfortable.
The most flattering skort!
I am so pleased with the cut of this skort with only a slight flare it is not too straight nor too frilly. I ordered a size small and it fits perfectly on my 5'4", 122lb body. I can't wait to wear it this summer and in the meantime it works perfectly as an alternative to bike shorts or yoga tights at my exercise class. The pocket under the skort, on the lining, easily holds my larger cell phone, even in its case. It can be dried in a machine and comes out beautifully (I hate having to hang dry clothes)!
Great buttttt
I wanted to love this skirt so badly. It’s super soft and flattering I’m the front. But being on the taller side (most my hight is in my legs) and having a butt. This was too short. The shorts hung out a weird amount under the skirt in the back compared to the front. If this skort came in tall I think the issue would be solved
Curvy approved
Let me start by saying I bought this skort because I had ankle surgery and could only fit skirts and shorts over my thick bandages and splint. Needless to say I'm a little less than fit at the moment. I am so surprised by how cute this skort is in person! Most activewear skorts are either too short or make me my bottom half look giant or frumpy, but this one is so perfect. The shorts underneath are the perfect length to prevent the dreaded "chub rub" and the skort over top doesn't ride up or flare out like an A-line skirt. The material is different than I expected (in a good way). It's thick, hiding my imperfections, but very stretchy and surprisingly cool. There is are two hidden pockets: one thigh pocket and small pocket in the waistband. Granted, it looks silly with a phone in the thigh pocket, but it's handly for me while I'm crutching around. One issue with this skort is that the REI logo is on the back. It's minor but I thought I had it on backwards. It would have been better on either the side or front of the leg. Maybe that's why it was on sale. Also, the "Zion Red" is much more orangey than red.
Good for bikes
I like this skort a lot. It is comfortable, a good length, i like the fit of my bikes shorts underneath. On the bike, it rides nicely and the skort pockets are a nice touch. Because it is still snowy where I live in Oregon, I’ve mostly been wearing it on my bike trainer, but I wore it on a run in Florida one time and found the material too heavy for running in the humidity. I think I will keep this for summer bike rides! I received this free product in exchange for an honest review.
The best-fitting skort
I recently purchased this skort for the upcoming hot summer months, and I was pleasantly surprised by the fit around the legs and thighs. There was no creeping up between the thighs. There is a pocket on the leg that is big enough to hold a cell phone and doesn't drag down the skort. There is also a little pocket on the hip that holds an item the size of a chapstick tube. All-in-all a great product.
