Really beautiful work. Couldn't be happier.
Of all of the bolt-on sets you could get for your own wall, this one is the best. In general, jugs are nice, right? Super, super positive, you can climb some seriously steep stuff and all. But are you going to set your home wall to 60 degrees? If you're just building something for casual play, training, etc you want chips, crimps, edges... and in the case of this pack, you get this awesome assortment of super creative holds. Nothing repeated. You get those beautiful yellow incut edges that Metolius makes, you get some cool relaxed versions of the green and red jug lines... There are a few pockets that I'm not necessarily stoked on, but just use 'em with open hands or as foot holds. Or use them as pockets, whatever. This set covers all kinds of holds in a really beautiful way. Nothing that feels like it has to be a foothold. Just a lot of really beautiful stuff. And if you're spending copious amounts of money to get colored routes like they'd have at the gym, these match perfectly with the chips, crimps and jugs in terms of color. Even the theme. Those little yellow chips match these modular edges perfectly - just a difference in scale. Honestly, should probably buy two and you're pretty well good to go.
