I have large hands and need XL, which I order for all gloves. I ordered XL in these and they fit like a Medium, at best. Sizing is way off on these. My review, obviously, is only based on sizing and not whether they keep one's hands warm.
These mitts are super fluffy and cozy. Perfect for those times when you are just standing in super cold weather. I've only worn them once but my hand were toasty warm in 20 degree weather + wind. Only complaint is they don't seam very durable (thin shell material) and the palm protection is pretty week..
Though the mittens were warm, the seam at the top of the mitten didn't hold together well
First tug on the straps to tighten gloves around the wrists…boing, the elastic ripped out. Not cool. It was the first run of the day at Winter Park in Colorado and had to use these the rest of the day. Hands stayed warm overall. Maybe I got the lucky lemon pair. Thank goodness I’m an REI coop member - the return process was a snap!
I bought 4 different pairs of gloves - these were by far the warmest. They also happened to be the least expensive - incredible! Lots of great features - nice wrist supports, top of glove strap, base of glove closure, and an extra loop at the base to make it easier to put the second glove on once the first glove is on. Very well engineered. I'm impressed.
These are the warmest mittens I’ve ever worn. I’ve been wearing electric gloves for several years while skiing but the batteries wouldn’t last a morning of skiing. With these mittens my hands stay warm all day.
Works as advertised! Super comfy and super easy to put on. Keeps my fingers warm when I need them to. THe straps are sturdy to hold.
The sizing was perfect. These gloves are well-made and very warm. I bought them to use backcountry skiing in cold weather early morning use. They did not disappoint. I’d recommend them to anyone who wants a warm pair of well-made gloves at a extremely decent price.
Great mittens! Nice and warm even when temperature was down around 15*F while hiking last week.
Great price! I was sceptical at first but these work amazing! My hands sweat hah
