Helmet developed a sticky coating
Helmet developed a sticky residue that would not go away despite repeated scrubbing with all manner of cleaners. We bought 2 of these helmets. One is fine and the other is horrible. They were treated the same by my kids. I will not be buying another helmet with a rubberized matte finish.
Great quality and fit, and my 3 year old loves it!
We picked this helmet out in store, and I have to say being able to try it on in person was a big advantage. It fits our 3-year-old just fine even though the box indicates it is recommended for ages 5+. Oddly, the head circumference rating (49-53cm) is the same as the helmet my kid had grown out of (the Giro Scamp) – so maybe don't pay too much attention to that and try it on if you can, or get a couple of options. As for the helmet itself: very nice, high quality, leather straps are a good touch, and it comes with a super sweet sticker pack. As long as you get the fit right, this is a great helmet for kids!
Great helmet highly recommend
Great helmet our daughter can get on and off on her own. Other helmets shift off her forehead. This stays and her noggin is protected.
Runs a bit Small, but very nice.
Too small for my 7 year old boy (his head isn't particularly large). Awesome helmet otherwise. Ended up ordering Adult Small size for him and it fits great and has some room to grow.
Sticky outer surface
The entire outer surface of the helmet started getting sticky like scotch tape.
