I would buy it again and recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a vest like this that got paint on it. The vest was so warm, attractive and serviceable that I had to get another. Now I have one to work in and one to wear anywhere else. Thanks for meeting a need.

Love it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was expecting to just want to wear this on chilly mornings at home - but I've been grabbing it almost everyday and wear it everywhere. Fit is perfect - workmanship is great - love it. Noticed that people will check it out when I am wearing it and their eyes go to the TNF logo and it seems like they nod to themselves like "The North Face makes cool stuff". Also been asked if I have lost weight when i wear it so whatever it is about the silhouette gives me bonus points. I'm kinda chubby so I like those comments

Love this vest also!

I had two vests which I was wearing all the time, and wanted to add two more colors, so picked up a navy from another brand and this buff colored North Face. The merle pattern and color go with much more than I had expected, and the weight and fit are perfect.

Defective Stitching in Lyons pockets

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased a pair of Lyons , and I regret to inform you that I am extremely dissatisfied with the quality of the product. After just two days of wearing them, I noticed that the stitches in the pocket are coming off. This is highly disappointing as I expected a much higher standard of craftsmanship from your brand. The premature failure of the stitching not only affects the overall aesthetics of the product but also raises concerns about its durability and longevity.

Great vest and a good value for a layering plan.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this vest to update my layering for skiing and patrolling. It did not disappoint. It's my primary layer under my radio harness as it fits so well. It's kept me warm in some pretty unpleasant conditions this season-- rain, driving sleet, snow and wind. It's perfect by itself under a shell down to around 20 degrees or so without activity. Packs well too. Only quibble is that there isn't a drawstring on the bottom.

Great Fit and Color

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased The North Face vest in the perfect shade of blue, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. The color is vibrant yet versatile, complementing a variety of outfits effortlessly. One of the most impressive aspects of this vest is the fit. Often, I find it challenging to find outerwear that fits just right, but this vest is spot-on in terms of size. It hugs my body comfortably without feeling restrictive, and the length is just right for layering over sweaters or under a jacket. The quality of materials used by The North Face is evident as soon as you put it on. The fabric feels durable yet lightweight, making it ideal for outdoor activities without weighing you down. Overall, I highly recommend this vest to anyone in search of a reliable, stylish layering piece. Whether you're hitting the trails or simply running errands around town, The North Face has you covered with this fantastic vest.

My husband loves the new style with one *teeny* caveat...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband has about 7 of the Gordon Lyons vests and loves the new style - *EXCEPT* that the little strings that are on the zippers constantly fall off in the wash. I keep finding them which is great, but it's sort of annoying that they don't stay on. Is it something that will make me stop buying them? Not at all. But maybe just a little tiny design flaw!!

This is a great vest for spring and fall weather

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this vest as a Christmas present for my hubby. He loves it because it fits him well and isn't too bulky or heavy and has zippers on the pockets. It's perfect for spring and fall weather in northern Nevada when you don't need a coat but would still like to bundle up a bit but not too much. I would buy this again, great quality product.

Perfect Midlayer Fleece

I used the vest for my weeklong hike along the Izu Geo Peninsula in Japan this past October. It kept me warm in the mornings at the beginning of the hikes, but didn't overheat me as the day got warmer, i.e. - I didn't need to peel. It is exactly what I needed and performed better than expected. Will be taking with me to Patagonia next month.
