My new go-to bike shorts!!

I've been wearing these for all of my at-home Peloton rides, as well as just out and about to run errands. Normally I'm between a small and medium depending on the brand, but for these I ordered a medium and they fit great. The material is super soft and light weight, and the high waisted cut makes them super flattering. I will definitely be purchasing in more colors for all of my summer rides!

not real cycling shorts

There is no padding in these. They might be nice for a workout but not for a 30 mile ride. I guess I kind of assumed a cycling short would actually be made for cycling. My bad.

good hot weather shorts

I'm not sure why these are specifically for cycling but they are wonderful as my hot weather go to. The material is soft and thin/breathable but not too thin to be see-through and still durable to hold up to what I've been doing. I haven't noticed any sweaty patches making darker patches in the merlot color and I have definitely been sweating in them. They fit perfectly and would be forgiving for all body types judging by how they sit nicely on my curvy body type. The waist band is high and thin enough to be for backpacking as other shorts are too bulky and bruise under my hip belt. I bought all three colors when they were on sale because I could tell immediately that the merlot pair I have would be my favorite.

The only bike shorts you need

I've been looking for the perfect pair of bike shorts all year and these are IT! Not only are they the ideal length, but the high waist makes them extremely flattering. I'm obsessed with the pocket detail and already know these are going to be my go-to summer piece! I'm 5'2/128lbs and ordered a Medium.

Weight is listed wrong

I haven't tested these shorts, but they seem very nice. However, I'm very disappointed to find that they weigh 3.81 ounces (give or take a tiny bit because my kitchen scale is not expensive or fancy) in a size small after the technical specs said they weigh 2 ounces. I bought them from REI Used, so a return would not get me back all of what I paid (paying for return shipping, and not getting back the shipping I paid), so I will probably keep them, but it's always sad when you buy something online after being lied to about a product. It may seem extreme to dock a nice pair of shorts that probably deserves 5 stars down to 2 over the weight, but the only reason I bought them is that I wanted the lightest shorts on the market, and I already have 3 pairs of similar shorts that weigh 3.5-4.5 ounces. I love REI and I'm sure this is just an honest mistake, and I'll buy from them in the future for sure, but I figured I'd leave a review to set the record straight about the weight.

Great for cycling or under a dress

I bought these to ride my peloton and they are so flattering and comfortable that I wear them under my dresses and skirts too. They are flattering at the hip for my hourglass figure and don’t ride up my thighs at all.

Need every color

These shorts are a great length, don’t ride up, and have pockets. What more could you ask for? I got the black but I’m going back for the gray, which will be super cute for the summer with a white tank.

Awesome bike shorts!

These are the perfect bike shorts - the fabric is buttery soft and the pocket positioned just right for a phone. I got the black ones during the winter and wore them over my other bike tights so I'd have a pocket. Now that summer is here, the shorts are gorgeous on their own. Getting the gray next!

great shorts

Love the colour, and they are flattering, but they are a bit tight in the tummy. They’re higher-waisted on me. I’m 115# 5’3” and got XS. I probably would’ve been more comfortable in a S. They run a tad small, because XS is my go-to size for pants and shorts.
