My toddler loves this book!

We got this book as a gift for my toddler and he loves it so much he often carries it around with him. The bright illustrations bring familiar nature and camping scenes to life. The writing is punchy and fun while conveying important lessons about responsible recreational stewardship and etiquette. My older kids love reading it too! This is the fourth of author Terry Pierce's books we have read and enjoyed. I highly recommend checking out “Mother Earth's Lullaby,” “Mama Loves You So,” and “My Busy Green Garden,” too!

Eat Up, Bear!

Eat Up, Bear! by Terry Pierce is not only a fun book to read, but also educational for the very young ones. The book teaches what environment bears live in and also the things that they should eat. The book teaches that bears should eat foods only found in nature where they live and not any foods that humans have. I highly recommend this book as it is both fun to read and educational.

Early environmental awareness!

We need more books that teach young kids how to have healthy interaction with animals in the wild. My daughter absolutely loves this book and is now an expert on bear diets.

Excellent book for little adventurers!

We received this as a gift for our newborn baby, and her 3-year-old brother loves helping us read it to her! We like the rhyming words and important educational message, and the colorful illustrations lead to fun conversations about outdoor adventuring.
