My Favorite Socks

I love these socks! I've been wearing them for about a year now in both boots and tennis shoes. They give a little extra cushion and my feet don't smell after a long day in boots. I use them for work which has me walking through all types of terrain all day from construction sites to creek beds and even in my waterproof boots they keep my feet healthy and they are so far living up to their name of "Darn Tough". For Christmas I asked for more so I now have a pair for every day of the week. As far as caring for them so they last, I will say that I wash them with my regular laundry and then hang them to dry. They are always dry in the morning.

I have been looking for a pair of hiking socks to wear for rollerblading, I have big calf, so I want something comfortable not tight on the top and also thick with high cushion. I have tried smart wool and rei-op socks similar to these, but they were either too cumbersome, or tight on the top, this turns out to be a surprise, these pair of darn tough socks feel so comfortable, thick yet not cubersome in my blades. Should have bought these pair in the first place

Purchased as a gift for my wife, these socks were a big hit. She loved the color combination of orange to red, and says these are the best feeling pair of Darn Toughs yet (having worn the brand for years.) We hike at least 15 miles per week together, and they really hold up without any noticeable wear in 9 months, and they are easy care. We just wash them in cold water and dry medium with other clothing. They don’t fade or shrink.

These are awesome. I’ve been using Darn Tough socks for hiking (and for casual wear) for a few years now. They’re my go to and just as thick and cushiony when I first got them. When I saw them in this tomato color, I had to grab a pair. Did someone say Little Mermaid vibes? So cool. 10/10.
