Woolrich  Lightweight Technical Hiker Socks

These socks are great! Not too thick not too thin, cushioning in the right places. I haven't hiked very far in them but they've proved to be good at wicking sweat away so far. Very comfortable. I'll buy more when these wear out.

I bought one pair of these because they were on clearance. 5 pairs later I can say I’m fully satisfied. The sock is a great bargain. I did not have issues with blisters, overheating or my feet getting cold. We did several local hikes here in SoCal - 7000-10000ft peaks, usually 15-30 mile range. The socks performed well. No issues durability lasted and the shoes I paired these with were Keens. My feet love keens because of the wide toe box. The toe box on these shoes has a little bit of cushion but not too much where it bunches or cause your feet to overheat. I have skinny calf’s and usually any type of stretching and the sock will slink down. After several washes hasn’t happened yet. Build quality was decent nothing to complain about after 3 months of use. Using these along with thicker SWs for Everest base camp next year.

I ran a race where it was snowing hard the entire time I was out and just above freezing. It was a wet mess! I wore these socks and just started to get wet feet in the last half mile. That may not sound like success, but everyone else I talked to at brunch said they had wet feet the entire race, or at least by the first half mile. Given that there was at least an inch of slush on the ground for the first mile and my shoes were nothing special, I'd say these socks are next level!

The older I get, the more I appreciate quality socks. These (like all Woolrich) are outstanding. Soft, comfortable, warm and no fuss during laundry.

Not lightweight as advertised.

I live in the Caribbean where I thought these sock would be to hot to where. My occupation is landscaping so I bought a pair of work boot that was burning the corn area of my big toe. Wearing these help a lot.

I have large calf muscles and these seem to stay in place for me. I did get them on clearance and I'm very happy with them. My feet don't stink when I wear them and they regulated moisture well.

I really like these socks because they give me good support, breathe well and stay in place as I am hiking.

These are Medium Weight, and that is what is on the label. Haven’t tried them yet, but they are certainly not light, which is what I wanted them for.
