I ordered them about a half size larger. They seem to fit with about a thumbs width between toe and front of shoe. My wife’s feet tend to be hard to fit. My mens shoes I ordered half size larger and my foot barely fit. Why can’t adidas seem to get their sizing to fit the standard. Always with adidas. I love the shoes but always have to get 1-3 sizes larger than any other brand. I would suggest if getting these find them in store to size then order online to font the best deals. Now I have to return them and get a larger size. Over all look and feel otherwise was amazing. I’m just bummed I’m now another week or so out to get the correct size.
Maybe add .5 size when you buy this shoe, but the quality is good!
Ive been an avid hiker the last 10 years and we FINALLY have hiking shoes that are cute and functional. These are great for summer hikes. Cushion, light and grippy. I took them on quite a steep hike with various terrain and it passed all the tests except one... They are wide so lots of room in the toes which is great. I did feel my toes hitting on the way down and had to re tighten the shoes twice which helped both times but otherwise they were very comfortable. Once they are broken in I imagine this issue will go away.
I ordered half size bigger because I read the reviews and when it arrives the trainers were small, I ordered another half size more and I feel that it is not my right size. I recommend try first before buy online.
I love how wide the shoes are. My feet have space to breathe. I went on an 8 km walk to try them out. I plan to take a long hiking vacation in the next few months and I wanted to see how these hikers will hold up.I'm quite happy with them. I feel sturdy in them whether I am walking on pavement, gravel or a dirt path. I'm glad I read reviews before purchasing because I did purchase one size larger than my normal shoe size. Very nice hikers!
I bought these shoes in preparation for a hiking trip. I really like them, especially because I purchased them on sale. They are wide, which allows you feet to breathe. The insole quality could be better. They are thin and they didn't provide my feet with enough cushion. I ended up purchasing insoles. I've been on quite a few 20 km hikes and these shoes held up well through water, mud, and everything else.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes (and green mens pair) were ordered ahead of a walking trip to the Lake District. Initial usage was hiking on rough paths and some scrambling in relatively dry conditions. They performed really well and were very comfortable. The mesh uppers are not waterproof and did allow in some water at times. It is true that they come up small, so definitely order at least 1/2 size up on your normal size.
I bought a similar style of adidas hiking shoe a few years ago and the 9.5 fit perfectly. I loved them, so comfortable. This time they were were too narrow in the toe box which is a weirdchoice to make for a hiking shoe. I even tried sizing up to the 10 and they were still too narrow. Wouldn't reccomend unless you have narrow feet.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I sized up half a size, even though it recommended I take my actual size, but should have gone up a whole size. They have a good grip. I didn’t walk that far in them so they were fine for the short walks I used on (as my toe was touching the end). Reasonably comfortable given I could have gone a full size up.
I sized up as per everyone’s recommendation, but I actually found it to be a little loose? My heel didn’t feel super secure even with a tighter lacing. Also the tag says AX4 “W” so perhaps this is wide fit which is not advertised. I will try my usual size.
