A Travel Towel That Actually Works!
Received free product
I am an avid cyclist and bicycle commuter for 25 miles roundtrip each day. I have to wear a suit at work and shower at the on-site gym and this towel performs perfectly for a lightweight pack towel. I am fully dry and the towel is dry by the end of the day The vented carrying bag also makes it nice if you have to fold it up wet and toss it in your bag, this keeps the towel from getting other items wet throughout the day. It's also a great towel for race day if you need to do a parking lot shower after a muddy mtb race. This towel would also perform well for through hikers looking for a light weight camp towel

Hoping multiple washes will change the texture
OK towel. Used daily for going to the gym and after swim showers. Absorbs water, but the texture is kind strange, feels like its always snagging on my nails. Seems to pick up a lot of lint in the laundry, kind of reminds me of a material that could be used for a dust mop. Doesn't seem to be any better than other versions that can be bought elsewhere for less. Bought extras as gifts, but going to return for something else. Wish the size was 36" x 25, a little longer and wider than the M but not as big as the L. The L is bath towel size, ok for home, but too large to carry around.

So many uses!

I honestly can't say enough about this towel. I used it for multiple things and it did not disappoint. First, the size is perfect. I used it after a run to wipe off and then drapped it over my car seat to absorb sweat on the way home. I used it after swimming to dry off and then again for yoga when I put it on my mat. It absorbs moisture great and is soft. the hook on the corner is perfect to hang for drying and the little pouch it comes in makes it easy to pack in my bag or in some cases, I put extra stuff in the little bag and just took that. I would like to see it in other colors, but otherwise.. great towel.

Solid

Great little multipurpose towel. I bought size M and used it as a washcloth/hand towel on a six day through hike. The fabric is a little scratchy so I don't know if I'd use it as a full on body towel, but as a small multipurpose towel it's great. I used it to clean off the mud after miles on the trail, I used it to squeeze excess moisture out of clothing, and I also used it to roll up items in my pack for storage. For all of those purposes it worked great. It dries quickly and has a nice little latching loop at the top which makes it easy to hang up and dry at night. As long as you're not averse to a lightly scratchy fabric, this towel is for you.

Camp Towel

I needed a car-camping towel. REI had many brands to choose from. Having long hair, a good size towel that packed easily but didbits job drying was required. I went on the limb by choosing this particular towel (size:Large). The zippered mesh pouch it came in is convenient. The towel was able to adequately dry the hair and body after bathing without it becoming soggy (compared to other camp towels I've used in the past). Lastly, this towel has a loop with a buttoned snap sobone can easily find a branch to hang it up to air dry. Very convenient and functional. 1st summer to use it. We'll see how long it lasts.

The Best Towel.

The design of this towel is vastly superior to the competition, because it actually dries you off and dries fast. Sure, it packs a bit "fluffier" than the REI Multi Towel Lite, but the Lite still leaves you a bit "moist" no matter how thorough and long you pat and wipe yourself off. The REI Multi Towel Deluxe, gets the job done and I've even started using it daily as a regular towel out of the shower at home. Really wish there was at least one more solid color option.

Great towel, flimsy bag

This is a great towel that I bring with me to the gym for post-workout showers. It is incredibly absorbent! I have the large size and it is great for my needs and does not take up too much room when packed away. My only gripe is that the carrying bag, which makes it even easier to bring to the shower and the gym, has already ripped. I have only had this towel for about a month, so that is a little disappointing. Otherwise, the actual towel works like a towel should, and I would highly recommend to anyone!

Awkward size

Received free product

The towel itself is a nice multi-purpose towel that comes in helpful carry bag, both of good quality. It functions just fine. My complaint is that the size I have is a bit awkward. Too big to use as a hand towel or for light duty applications, but too small to use as a bath towel. I don't think too many people want an ultra minimalist sized bath towel. Probably good for van-life, too big for backpacking, too small for car camping, too small for pool/lake/beach use. An improvement would be if REI could integrate the carry bag into the towel itself, possibly making the bag part of the towel, so that the bag can't get lost.

Quick drying and light as air

Does everything it says dries body fast and enough absorbancy . Dries on hanging very quickly . Very light weight comes with carry bag if you want to use. My favorite thing the loop that lets you hang on hooks doorknobs and hangers so convenient when traveling anywhere. I used for a Phillipines vacation for the bath towel if not provided was staying at friends friend’s place just wanted to make sure we had something but can be ised for swimming towel as well . This sise seems to be the best not too big or too small. Ussing at swimming place now . Love it not heavy yo carry in my bag . Doesn’t hold all that water that make towels heavy . Definitely a get ! Told my brother in law to get he loved it as well for our vacation.
