Great fenders but didn't work for my CTY 1.1 ST
Our local bike shop recommended these fenders to me, so I ordered them without much thinking. I found these fenders the sturdiest that I can buy. I like the U-shaped struts much better than other styles on the market. I imagine that they direct water flow inside the fenders a lot better without causing side splashes. I also like the matte black finish. However, I had to return them because they do not work for my CTY 1.1 Step Through. The fork clearance is slightly smaller than the requirements listed on the PDW website. I tried to mount them, but the edges of the fender touch my fork legs.
Works but needed some additional parts
Fits Trek Dual Sport 2 with additional hardware. The rear fender fits perfectly however the front required some small 90 degree brackets to work. Other than that great product.
Solid fenders
Used these throughout the rainy season in Portland and they stand up way better than my previous plastic fenders. I appreciate that there's a built-in safety mechanism that will allow them to detatch if something gets stuck. Seems like the company really thought of everything when it came to making these. I did need to use a dremel to cut some notches in the front fender to make it fit my bike, but it wasn't a major issue since my bike doesn't have standard fitting locations. I would recommend these if you're looking for something that will last.
Excellent Fenders
These fenders have been awesome on my Trek Checkpoint ALR and fit well with a couple different sets of 40-42mm tires. I use these fenders on my daily commute (have been for 6+ months before leaving this review) and they have works extremely well for me in wet road conditions. I have not taken them off road in wet conditions, but I would not hesitate / have any concern at all with them holding up gravel riding / off roading.
Top drawer
These aren't the lightest fenders around, but they will be right at home on your high dollar gravel bike. They won't rattle and wobble like budget fenders.
Perfect for my steed!
5/5 Excellent Product I use this product daily and throw it through the ringer. I use it on my gravel bike and regularly take it out on cross country trails.. sometimes downhill. I have flipped my bike, had to jump off and watch it tumble down a rock garden, had rocks/dirt/sticks sucked up into the fenders to then clean them out and have no issues. They keep my feet dry and back dry which is especially important for longer rides or commuting. Two recommendation to potential buyers, the is tape provided to avoid rubbing against the frame of your bike. Check this periodically as it can wear down. Second recommendation, heed the manufacturers warning that taking the time to properly install will pay off. The fenders look very sharp even after being abused. Plus extra points for the company being responsible in many aspects (manufacturing, refurbishing, etc..).
Excellent quality fenders
I've been using these fenders for two seasons and they have been the most solid fenders I have used on any bike. I have them mounted on a Kona Libre aluminum with 700X45c tires and even over rough terrain they are very stable and quiet unlike fenders I've used from SKS and Planet Bike. The metal fender stays are very sturdy as are the fenders themselves. I can easily remove and install the fenders when needed too, they bolt on and require very little adjustment once the initial installation has been completed.
Complicated Install
These fenders are beautiful looking, matte black fenders! I wanted a set of full coverage metal fenders and these don't disappoint in their build quality and effectiveness at keeping me (and my bike) dry! However, the directions for install are made out to be a lot easier than in reality. Although I had the right size, I was able to get the rear one mounted with with a tight clearance to my rear rack. One thing I didn't realize was that since I have a front suspension, I wasn't able to mount the front one without cutting off some of the length of the mounting bar, plus needing parts that weren't in the box. I ended up asking my local bike shop for help and they were able to take care of the rest for me, at a small cost. I intend to get another pair for my gravel bike (with a fixed fork), but this time I'm more aware of the tricks to try and get it installed on my own.

Great fenders except it would not fit on a Canyon Grail-On due the location of the front disk brakes
